🏐🔥We are excited to have Penelope Leamy as our Player of the Month🏐
✌️Penelope stands out as a leader on our LCVC 12U team, both on and off the court. She often arrives early to practice and is always eager to put in extra hitting reps. Over the past month, I’ve seen her make significant progress in her passing and defense, which I attribute largely to her prepared and focused mindset. I’m excited to watch her continue growing as a player and leader this year! Coach Andrew

Gangsta.

@hyroxamerica Anaheim is in the books!

@teamwilpers athletes @redefined_by_jenna and Kelly O’Brien loved their first go at this type of event. Former crossfitters who dabbled in running turned to running for the past serval years to find their groove. Hyrox was somewhere in the middle; the ultimate blend! They tackled the event as a women’s team and learned a lot.

Our approach? With @sslryan in the loop to ensure strength was on point for Kelly, we focused on really being the best half marathoners we could be while alternating a Hyrox focused session and V02max every other Monday for months. 3 weeks out they both crushed a 10k which told us they were ready to go!

Anyone else been checking out @hyrox events?! Let me know in the comments!

Laguna doesn’t really do “mall shopping.” We do hat studios, gallery browsing, ceramic treasure hunts, dinner under the Forest Ave lights, scalp resets, and wellness sessions you hear about from a friend who swears it changed everything.

This year’s LBL Gift Guide is officially live — packed with the local spots we actually love, shop at, and send our friends to. Nothing mass-produced, nothing trend-chasing. Just Laguna, in gift form.

Here’s who made the list this year:

🤠 @luckycowboy__ — Custom, hand-shaped hats made in their studio for the person wearing it. (Located inside @bluebirdmercantilelb.)

👗@thevaultlaguna — Three Forest Ave boutiques carrying effortless, polished Laguna style.

🍽️ @blueberryhugs_tableware — Thoughtful, handmade ceramics and art from Japanese makers, curated in South Laguna with so much heart (and cuteness)!

🏡 @campsandcottages — Cottage-style décor, antiques, and one-of-a-kind home pieces Laguna has loved for 25 years.

🍷@bianchi_lagunabeach — A relaxed tasting room pouring Paso Robles favorites right here in Laguna.

🍕@alessalagunabeach — A dinner under the lights, with handmade pasta and a cozy Forest Ave glow.

☕️ @equatorcoffees — Ethically sourced beans and seasonal blends from the café at the restored Rivian South Coast Theater.

💆🏻‍♀️ @luxuryhairspa — Scalp treatments that feel like a full reset — soothing, restorative, healing.

🫧 @dollface_laguna — Clean beauty, hydrafacials, brows, lashes, makeup, and house-call services.

🎨 @gallerysandstone — Contemporary fine art on Gallery Row, celebrating 45 years in Laguna.

🐾 @officerbluedog — A local author’s children’s book series about safety, kindness, and community. (Look out for the real Officer Blue on his morning walks in Woods Cove!)

💪🏼@redefined_by_jenna — Strength training in the HIP District focused on form, mobility, and feeling good.

🧬 @_koawellness — Peptide therapy and personalized guidance from a local firewoman/athlete/mom of 2 for anyone craving better energy or support through life and health changes.

🤍 The full guide is now live on LagunaBeachLiving.com under our SHOP section. Happy shopping, Laguna!

Who doesn’t love a good pool party? 💦 Especially when it’s with 93 of your ride-or-dies since Kindergarten. 🥹

Today wasn’t just about sugar highs, Cane’s sauce or sporting their new found love of @thecomfy (though that didn’t hurt). It was about closing one chapter and getting ready to ride the next wave. 🌊

From their days as little dolphins 🐬 to now rising sixth graders, this crew has grown in ways that can’t be measured in test scores or recess wins.

💫 Here’s to the Class of 2025—brave, bonded, and ready to take on Thurston, even if it’s just down the street. Go get ’em, Wave Riders!

Our final installment with @redefined_by_jenna. The gals have a quick visit with Charley Bear 🐕 & then someone pees their pants. Tune in for the big reveal! #meatinthefrontseat #lagunabeach #orangecounty #toypoodle #trampolineflips #peepants

The beef jerky course is next (🥩: @righteousfelon) and the gals discuss Jenna’s daughter’s concern that she may not come home from #meatinthefrontseat. Abbey needs a little treat because she’s having a bad day/week/decade so the gals roll on over to @abodelaguna for some shopping. Ham is purchased and promptly eaten in the car 😋 #lagunabeach #orangecounty #shoplocal #jerky #hambone
