I am very excited to share the news for today’s BANDCAMP FRIDAY & RELEASE DAY.

‘Reverberations from the American Southwest’ is out now on Desert Records.
Available on Bandcamp.
Streaming on all platforms.

For fans of: Ennio Morricone, Neil Young (‘Dead Man’ soundtrack), Earth, Emma Ruth Rundle.

“This one is near and dear to me, as I have taken a leap and have released my debut solo album.
I recorded this entirely outside in the high deserts in & around Albuquerque, NM in the spring of 2025. I hauled all gear in a wagon and hiked as far out on quiet trails, deserts, and forests as I could. This is an immersive piece of music, blending the natural landscape and soundscape of nature with psychedelic western electric baritone guitar and harmonica.
I recorded the 15 tracks at seven different locations over two months. Finding a setting that was completely free of human voices, car noises, and airplanes was actually quite challenging. On top of that, wind was a constant battle as the area is very windy in the spring.
Each track starts with a drone, the underlying foundation of each piece. These drones are meant to match the vibe and hum of the locations in which they were captured.
I performed the songs at very low volume in hope to reduce any intrusiveness that I may have on nature. I spent more time listening and waiting for the right moments than I actually did performing the album. Some of these tracks are short, as the setting only called for a minute or two. Ultimately, I succeeded in capturing as honest an album that I possibly could.

This will transport you to the deserts of New Mexico.
Thank you for listening.”

"And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you". Nietzsche

Say what you will about Nietzsche, but damn would he have been a doom devotee if born in this age,?

One thing's sure, even Friedrich would've had enough to make himself wanna become a boozehound or just plain lose faith in 'humanity'🍻

Thus I salute (with an empty pint) to all those still kickin', barkin' against the madness w/ the rest of us deranged curs who may foment & foam like mutts without homes, but dammitt : if we're struttin' into oblivion we'll declare with absolute rebellion for all those who care to remember we were here💀

An intriguing, indulgent take on BM from a part of the country that is no stranger to the occult & perhaps THE very epicenter of finding witches whom might've otherwise floated on their own & ate tomatoes whether or not paranoia got the best of their neighbors🤣

A punishing & bold direction, of prophetic proportions [progressive may NOT even begin the true discourse] when one has nothing left to do but forever bathe in darkness, whether or not you brought your rubber ducky🛀🐥☠

Seriously, promising & provocative & eager to watch the heavens get gutted from future endeavors; let the blood rain forth☔

With the move ongoing, things merch-wsie will slow for a few months, mostly to clear the pipeline for address changes & all that.

Once relocated, orders might resume📦

Best wishes👍

this is why we welcome comment in and on our space.
it IS unfortunate that they didn’t voice this to me in person,
as it is openly stated 7-8 times that we will not be beaten on our prices of legiterally* 90% of our inventory.
feel free to come back and argue this bad joke/trend in our last days of #HalfPriceMovies,
ending SATURDAY!

* thanks Esmé! comment card stating “you’re charging 6-7x toooooo much!”
