LA REVOLUTION. 🇿🇦🔥
Before the names. Before the recognition. Before GROW — there was the movement.
La Revolution takes us back to the early days of ReignBawllerz, when the music was raw, the circles were tight, and everybody was simply putting their piece into the culture.
The video is packed with familiar faces from Cape Town's underground — Jack The Riddler, Red Oak The Don, Wally The Joker and Ferris, just to name a few.
Look closely and you’ll catch even more pieces of the story: MPJ, singer/songwriter from Lutsville, Stuwi W, producer and rapper, and a host of other artists and creatives who were part of the journey.
These weren't necessarily famous faces. They were real ones — people creating, collaborating and contributing before there was a spotlight on any of it.
Years later, we're looking back at these moments with a different perspective.
Because sometimes the archive tells you something the present can't:
The revolution was already happening. We just didn't know how far it would go.
Now we're taking everything we learned from those early days and putting it into GROW — the debut ReignBawllerz album.
Then was the foundation.
Now is the build.
Next is the legacy. 🌱
