Musky Rut Weekend 2026 was our best yet in the Northwoods of WI, boating 9 muskies over a couple of days, highlighted by a gorgeous 44.25" Tiger 🐅 and 5 fish 40" or bigger. Made the switch this year to the Tiger @thenetbuddy and its only fitting to bag a big Tiger in that net! The suckers from @dicksmithslivebait traveled well and delivered for us! Baits that worked were @redoctoberbaits Tubes & @cc_lures Blade N Crank @reconboats is the best to Musky boat to fish out of! I love being able to store my 10ft rods and sucker rods away as well. #Musky #Muskyfishing #WI #merica🇺🇸

Feeling extra thankful this Thanksgiving! 🍂🎣 What an incredible summer! From the amazing people I’ve met to the endless adventures on these beautiful waters, I can’t help but feel grateful to call this little corner of Northwestern Ontario home. There’s something special about living in a community surrounded by so much natural beauty, incredible fishing, and amazing people to share it all with. 🫶🏻 Saturday was another one for the books! @thereeldre and I spent the day chasing giants, led by local guide and good friend @thereelcorkey who has been guiding for over 30 years! Thanks for sharing your experience and tips with us we learnt so much. It was a successful and slimy day after landing FIVE healthy and hefty pike. We even had a giant musky follow right up to the boat!! We were finished casting ans getting ready to revisit that musky spot when a little ticking from the motor decided our adventure was over for the day. But that’s fishing, always leaving you with a reason to come back. 🐟 Here’s to good friends, big fish, beautiful places. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🍁🙏🏻
