$Latest additions to #educatedbychocolate tattoo series - the flower needed a pollinator! Let me introduce you to what might be the only cacao midge tattoo?!? Not sure who else is so crazy - dedicated - obsessed- addicted enough to add a “ no-see-um” to their arm ink…and in the size that you definitely need to se it! @honoliicacao had a good analogy of midges the size of a mini-Cooper compared to the “fly cousins” the mosquitoes’ equivalent of a school bus 🚌. Important habit in the discarded cacao pods & they still only manage to pollinate a small fraction of flowers. I don’t have my own collection of #molinillos but I’ve been admiring a lot lately & wanted some connection to drinking chocolate. This should spur a trip to Mexico! Knew the molinillo would be detailed line & shading + key placement so it was worth the time & $ to get both done. Thanks @redrobintattoos @silentmoontattoo #scienceart #tattoos$
