LONG LIVE SUNNY DAYS & CEDAR FEST 🌹🌭💛🍄🐪💃🏻

Thank you @westbankmpls and @ourstreetsmn for having us at this year’s Cedar Fest!! It’s my favorite time of season, the neighborhood filled with music, activities, and families. We loved the crowd singing “Shrinky Dink” with us 💓 the ginormous stage umbrella flying away almost took the band out 🤣 I saved the crowd from getting hit with an epic one handed save. Definitely a highlight of the performance 😂

Big shoutout to Red Sea @redseampls for hosting the outdoor stage and getting our sound crisp 😍

I’ve done a lot of interviews over the years about my journey, but this one was, by far, the most challenging. @dogstarpodcast I appreciate y'all more than you know. I was honored to be on your podcast. Looking forward to part ll in the future. They asked some hard questions, challenged me, and it was obvious they had done their homework. I’ll admit I was nervous.

But I’m grateful for opportunities like this because they give people a chance to understand who I am and why I do what I do.

If you’ve supported me throughout this journey, thank you. I know attention spans are short these days, but I don’t make music just for attention, fame, or money. I do it because I believe music should have a message.

I truly believe Jehovah has a purpose for my life. This journey hasn’t been easy. It’s been hard. It’s been lonely. I haven’t always received support from my hometown—or even from people who look like me because I chose to make R&B that doesn’t revolve around sex, one-night stands, getting drunk, or the things our culture often glorifies.

Instead, I make music about love, hope, faith, perseverance, and real-life experiences. Music with substance. Music that means something.

I’ll never sell out or compromise who I am. The day someone tells me I have to change my values to succeed is the day I walk away. Until then, I’ll keep working, keep growing, and keep trusting Jehovah.

To the critics: keep talking if you want. I know the gift Jehovah has given me. I know I can sing, and I know I’m good at what I do. My job is to keep improving, stay humble, and let my work speak for itself.

I’ve reached out to several artists about collaborating, and most weren’t interested. That’s okay. Every “no” has motivated me to work even harder. Just don’t come around later acting like you believed in the vision from the beginning.

Thank you to everyone who’s been rocking with me. Your support means more than you know.
