Loved seeing these works by Ali Enache, Scott Kahn & Samantha Thomas come together in the home of such wonderful clients. Three very different artists that work so beautifully together in the space. Thank you to @henryandcodesign for bringing me in on this project. Thank you to @ardenwhitegallery, @davidzwirner & @anatebgigallery for making it seamless. Venice beach, home - 2012. On this day, May 5th—Cinco de Mayo—14 years ago, I teamed up with @tonyv_13 for an unforgettable going-away/Cinco de Mayo party before I left for… Paris. This first photo reflects that moment—blindfolded, swinging into the abyss, not knowing where I’d land. And somehow, I landed on a whole new, unplanned life in France. I’m deeply grateful for those years in LA and the people who were and still are part of that time. It will always be a part of me. Also grateful for the 1.000 Jell-O shots we made and the guy who brought the magic mushroom-honey! Now it’s time for a margarita. Happy cinco de mayo! #EmbraceChange #cincodemayo #paris #newbeginnings #venicebeach

Sneak Peek of our presentation 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘍𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺 for 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀 Feb 26 - Mar 1 BOOTH D14 Featuring works by: Jessica Taylor Bellamy, Mucki Botkay, Alejandro García Contreras, Heather Guertin, Anabel Juárez, Angela Lane, Jemima Murphy, Alex Prager, Neil Raitt, Gideon Rubin, Robert Russell, Samantha Thomas, Fabian Treiber, Sarah Ann Weber, Faith Wilding, Erin Wright For the 2026 edition of Frieze LA, Anat Ebgi presents 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘍𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺, a selection of new works, including painting, beaded tapestry, ceramic sculpture, photography, and watercolor. Across these practices, artists explore celestial phenomena, plant life, shifting ecological tensions, and starry night skies, framing environments of both beauty and instability. Whether pastoral, portable, or at the edge of a precarious paradise, many of the works dwell in conditions of in-betweenness and flux: abstraction and figuration, interior and exterior, day and night, blooming and dispersal. Materially and visually, density, layering, rhythmic mark making, and fragmentary arrangements create non-hierarchical fields where forms extend, stories remain partial, and events are left to be their own messengers. Together, these artists propose worlds shaped by adaptation, care, resilience, and the fragile yet enduring rhythms that connect bodies, objects, and environments.
