Great, chill turn out at Tuanies & Titlow last Saturday. Good people, good conversations, not a bad way to spend a gorgeous Saturday morning. Here's the usual random 20 pics.

Took back shots at last Saturdays @tacomacarsandcoffee - tried something different and pointed my camera down the hill instead of the usual uphill. Things I’ve learned - autofocus hates backshots and struggled to focus sharply most of the time.

A few from @tacomacarsandcoffee last Saturday. It’s an eclectic mix, as always.

Yesterday was the first time I’d ever use a medium format camera. My buddy loaned me his Fuji GFX100s with the 110mm F2 and 32-64mm F4 lenses to play with. I shot Tacoma Cars & Coffee with the 110mm F2.

It was a learning process as I had to learn the limits of the autofocus capabilities, which isn’t as good as my X-H2. It’s also a massive 100MP sensor. Cars in motion are not what people buy this camera for, but it was fun testing it out. The AF does not like it when the car is too close and fails, but the shots from further away can easily be dropped down and still retain high-resolution.

The static shots really show how impressive the dynamic range and color capabilities of the massive sensor. It was fun to shoot with, and I’ll probably try some other shoots. However, I’ll stick to my trusty X-H2 and 50-140mm F2.8 for rolling shots.
