The Father allowed me to experience a lot this summer. I got to go some places and see cool things. I spent a lot of quality time with my people. I got a job and then later got let go. I experienced the joy of baseball on the coaching and working side. I’ve spent time managing summer classes and taking the next steps towards the next seasons of life. I put a little too much on my plate, so the Lord took off some to make room for other important things. Somehow I ran into someone I know no matter what place I went to. Whether I got what I wanted or didn’t, God was still good and took care of me. And of course, every now and then there was a cat.

Psalm 34:1 (CSB)- “I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”
