Take me back to this night!! Our welcome dinner the night before our big day. 🌙

So many laughs and even more tears. Starting the night with dinner + toasts and ending the night running through the fields of our venue with my closest friends until we fell to the ground from laughing so hard.

@tregothedj stayed late past dinner playing all of our favorite music and we danced until the sun went down. Every moment unplanned but completely perfect in the way I dreamed my wedding weekend would feel like.

This night felt just as special as our wedding day was to me, and I’ll forever be reliving every moment through these photos 🖤

There are moments in life that become part of your soul forever. This was one of them.
•
No words could ever fully express the gratitude we’ve felt for the overwhelming love, kindness, and support surrounding Dallas and Jayden. Every hug, every conversation, every person who traveled near and far, it all became part of a weekend we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.
•
To Dallas & Jayden’s incredible friends… thank you. Thank you for loving our boys so deeply, for standing beside them, for celebrating them so wholeheartedly. Your friendship, loyalty, and presence throughout this weekend meant more than you’ll ever know.
•
One of Dallas’ dear friends shared words that have stayed with me ever since:
•
“It was a weekend that celebrated not only love, but loss… and the courage of two people who fought for their story so it could shine this boldly.”
•
Those words pierced my heart because they hold so much truth.
•
This weekend wasn’t just about a wedding. It was about hope after heartache, joy after years of uncertainty, healing where there had once been pain, and the beautiful reminder that love is strengthened by grace, compassion, and the people willing to walk beside us through every season.
•
My mother’s heart is overflowing. 🥹
Forever grateful. Forever changed. Forever holding this weekend close. ♥️

Rehearsal Dinner! Nothing restores a mother’s heart quite like being surrounded by her grown children. ♥️
Becoming Dallas’ mom has truly been one of the choicest blessings of my life. From the very beginning, there has always been something extraordinary about Dallas. To know him is to love him. I went back thru journal entries over the years and wrote this description of my son:
“Dallas is loving, patient, intelligent, diligent, hardworking, and visionary. He is deeply loyal, exceptionally thoughtful, and the kind of person people naturally respect because of the way he treats others.” After Washington, I’ve added, “a gatherer and a healer!”
Dallas has always been a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend, and I could not be more proud of the man he has become. But one thing everyone who knows Dallas can agree on, is that he is FUN. Truly one of the funniest people I know. He brings light into every room he walks into. Whether through his quick wit, his infectious laughter, or his ability to make people feel instantly comfortable, Dallas has always had a gift for bringing joy to others. Some people simply make life brighter, and Dallas has always been one of those people. One of my favorite things about Dallas, is his voice, not just literally, though I’ve always loved hearing his stories & laughter; BUT I ADMIRE his voice in advocating for others, standing up for what matters, and making people feel seen, valued, and loved.
Dallas has brought so much joy to our family. His talents, his humor, his heart, and his steady presence have blessed our lives in countless ways. Watching Dallas grow into the exceptional man he is today has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
I have always believed that God is in the details of our lives. I don’t believe it was by chance that Dallas and Jayden met when they did or in the way they did. I believe their paths were divinely guided. Somehow, at exactly the right time, God brought together two remarkable well deserving men who were meant to find each other. Watching their love story unfold has strengthened my faith that some of life’s greatest blessings are quietly being prepared long before we ever recognize them. ♥️

We arrived in Ashford, Washington for an unforgettable weekend to celebrate our son’s wedding. It felt only fitting that our first adventure led us here. 🤍
•
Standing beside this peaceful lake, surrounded by God’s magnificent creations, I couldn’t help but reflect on how quickly life moved. It seemed like just yesterday I was holding my little boy’s hand, and now I had the privilege of watching him begin his own eternal journey.
•
There was a tender mix of gratitude, joy, and the bittersweet ache that only a mother’s heart can fully understand. That weekend was about so much more than a wedding. It was about witnessing the beautiful unfolding of God’s plan, celebrating love, welcoming another child into our family, and cherishing those sacred moments before another chapter began.
•
In my heart and mind, I’ll forever replay every sunrise, every conversation, every laugh, every activity, and every quiet moment we shared. Those memories became treasures I’ll carry with me always. I’m so grateful for each person who came to celebrate with us including friends & family, our photographer, videographer DJ and wedding planner. ♥️⛰️
