#daceallan wanted some poke so I went to go get some. @reef_candy_lures tournament this weekend so it was great timing to test whether the fish finder cable repairs were successful! Another blessed morning in Hawaii ne YESSSSAH 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾 headed out nice and early pitch black darkness to go meet the boys out on the water. Definitely blessed to have a place to go to clear your head. With all the chaos around me, the ocean has always been my place to go to escape reality. The healing properties of these Waters are magical, and if you ever need to find answers, go get yourself a little bit of vitamin SEA.

Lots of action this morning with bait balls everywhere. Baby Mahi grabbing our line and tunas were hitting hard. Pulled up a nice 41 pounder on 30 lb @deltafishinggear fluorocarbon. Light line makes for epic battles.

We're going to be eating good tonight, till next time fish safe, fish hard, and fish often aloooooooooohaaa 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

This Ono was caught on luck alone. 3 times this Ono could’ve been lost. First, using fluorocarbon initial strike could’ve been snipped clean off. Second, lines with @tatalawrence got crossed. Third, the trailer / stinger hook didn’t even penetrate the Ono’s hard mouth as when I went to remove hook it just fell out.
