Ciao Fabietto.

A goodbye to the part of me that kept me safe for so long: the shield, the voice that whispered watch out, the one that stood in front of me again and again. It also kept me away from adventures I would have loved.

I wrote as I realised that old pattern of behaviour held me stuck in a rut, and I needed to take the courage to move forward.
“Now it’s time for me to walk alone, feel the fear and dive.”

You can hear me read it, with music, by scanning the QR code on page 96 of Gracing Freedom. Arriving end of November. The music for this piece is performed by @reefosnaps with his wonderful hand-pan skills. More at fabiograssi.com/gracing-freedom (link in bio).

When we were approached with the opportunity to hold space @rua_red for FORUM Intercultural Arts Festival 2026, we were beyond thrilled!

Why? — We have many whys.

The first being the opportunity to bring the community closer to home in South Dublin, for many of the poets and artists who have often traveled far distances to hold space with us, even when accessibility poses a constant barrier.

Another why — in a world where we can easily become blind to the needs of people whose lives operate in a different reality to our own, creating a space to address the topic of Access is something we’ve been ruminating on for some time. So, we were extremely delighted that FORUM’s program agenda gave us the perfect permission for creating the space for that exact dialogue.

To our special guest poets, and everyone who represented not just themselves, but the collective voice, standing for others even in their absence, thank you so much!

For filling the room with your presence, your honesty, and your artistry.

Thank you @rua_red for the opportunity to create this space.

Well done @subhashinigoda.dance and the team on such an impactful two-day program. Your brilliance is truly inspiring, and we’re so grateful for the access you gave us to hold this space with you.

Special thanks to @lulitluis for creating the gorgeous graphics that brought Access: Beyond Pathways to life ✨

And to Aarif, @reefosnaps wow! Thank you for capturing these moments so beautifully 📸❤️

On Saturday 19th September, surrender to an immersive somatic story and celebrate two incredible years of Ecstatic Dance Ireland! Get lost in movement, embrace the sweat, and feel the love as we mark this special milestone with our most expansive journey yet.🔥

Whether you are a regular dancer or this is your very first time stepping onto the floor, this anniversary edition is designed to help you tap into a state of profound ecstatic release.🌀

🎟️ Tickets available now via bio! 💫

6PM Embodied Flow Workshop (Optional Add-On): Join us for an immersive embodiment workshop before the main dance begins, with the fantastic movement maestro @luc.orourke (assisted by @olenkasmolenko) leading us into flow and connection. A perfect opportunity to deepen your connection with yourself and the dancefloor during ecstatic dance sets.

Double-Wave DJ Set: Allow yourself to be transported by a massive 2-hour collaborative set from our good friends @elfe.verse & Aidan @dansezvous.ireland. This extended sonic voyage will be split straight down the middle into two distinct waves, blending eclectic, highly danceable beats seamlessly spanning multiple genres to guide you into a moving meditation.

Live Music & Sound Elements: To deepen the experience, the night will feature rich, live instrumentation. @didgeridoo.jedi is stepping back from his usual DJ role to weave ancient, shamanic vibrations through live didgeridoo. He will be joined by Aarif @reefosnaps, who will drive the primal energy on the congas and bring ethereal melodies via the handpan.

Cacao (INCLUDED!): @saoroexperience's delicious barista cacao will be provided free of charge on entry to the space. This is 100% pure cacao made from single-origin Sierra Leone beans. No additives, sweeteners, emulsifiers, or preservatives. It is ethically and sustainably sourced from local agricultural cooperatives to support indigenous producers and rainforest canopy regeneration. A rich, velvety drink that nourishes the body and soothes the mind.

🎟️ Tickets available now via bio! 💫

A look at our last Open Studio in May with @culturedatewithdublin8

We are delighted to be opening our studio to the public again for this years @culturenight on Friday September 18th 🎨
Registration is necessary as spaces are limited. You can sign up to visit via the Eventbrite link in our bio.

Step inside La Catedral Studios, in Dublin 8. A vibrant creative hub in the heart of the Liberties, and discover the artists who bring the space to life. During our Open Studios event, you’ll have the chance to meet the painters, illustrators, digital artists, textile artists, photographers, writers, and performers who call La Catedral home.
Explore their studios, learn about their creative processes, and browse a curated selection of original artworks, prints, and handmade pieces available to purchase throughout the event.

Unfortunately the studios are accessible only by stairs and are therefore inaccessible to wheelchairs, buggies or for those with reduced mobility.
