He got made redundant…but he wasn’t starting from zero. 👀

Meet Shum, our newest INTELETRAVEL PINNACLE AWARD WINNER 🏆✈️

From building a travel business around a hectic full-time job and coaching his daughter’s football team, to this!

This award recognises over £10,000 in commissions earned in a year from his travel business. And that’s just part of the story!

✈️ He’s a top travel booker, helping people make incredible memories around the world.

📈 He’s helped over 80 people start their own travel businesses, sharing what he’s learnt and mentoring others to build something of their own.

💪🏽 He built this alongside a demanding full-time job, proving you don’t have to have loads of spare time to get started.

🙌🏽 And when redundancy came along, he had something many people wish they had in that situation: another income stream already established.

That’s what makes this so special. It’s not just about an award or a number. It’s about the options you create for yourself, the people you help along the way, and having something to fall back on when life throws you a curveball.

@instashummy , massive congratulations! 🥳 You should be so proud of what you’ve built and the 80+ people you’ve helped get started on their own journeys. This is so well deserved! ❤️

And if you’re reading this thinking you’d love to build an additional income stream alongside your job, family life or whatever else you’ve got going on…

👇🏽 Comment TRAVEL and we’ll show you how you could get started too. ✈️

The people, the opportunities and the memories that come with building something of your own. ✈️🌴🤝

More income, more freedom, more travel and the chance to help others create something for themselves too.

Grateful for the journey so far and excited for what’s still to come. 🙌

Sometimes the best opportunities come from being open minded enough to explore something different. 😉

When someone shares a business opportunity with you, it’s not always because they’re trying to pressure you.

Sometimes they can see potential in you that you haven’t quite seen in yourself yet.

I said yes to this business just over two years ago. At the time, I was a full-time IT professional, husband and girl dad who simply wanted to earn some extra money and help pay for the many things a teenage daughter suddenly “needs”.

Fast forward to now and I’ve recently been made redundant after seven years.

Not ideal. Wouldn’t recommend it.

But I’m incredibly grateful I didn’t wait until I needed a Plan B before starting one.

My businesses have given me extra income, amazing experiences, new friendships, more confidence and something positive to focus on while I work out what comes next.

You don’t have to say yes to every opportunity.

But perhaps don’t dismiss one before you’ve properly understood it. The slightly uncomfortable conversation could end up being the one you’re most grateful you had.

If you’re curious about what I do, send me a DM or COMMENT PLAN B and I’ll happily explain with no pressure and no awkward chasing afterwards 😂

There’s no “type” of person who builds a life like this.

An ex-optician.
A dad who wanted more freedom.
A mum who never saw herself as a business owner.
A woman who simply decided to try something different.

Different stories. Different reasons. Different starting points.

But somehow, here we are, jumping over phones 🥲, running into the sea and building a business that gives us the freedom to actually LIVE.

And that’s one of my favourite things about this industry.

You don’t have to have a certain background.
You don’t have to be “business-minded.”
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just need to be open to the possibility that there could be more for you.

So if you’ve ever watched people doing this and thought, “Yeah, but I’m not that kind of person…”

Maybe you are. 😉

There’s a seat for you too.

DM me BEACH if you want to know what we’re actually doing.

What an unbelievable holiday with amazing memories made even more special with Vish coming out and surprising us for the last couple of days. Definitely got our moneys worth with the all inclusive 🍻🍔🍕

Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse on the flight home when we was an hour away from landing over France the pilot announced we was going to need to do an emergency landing in Paris due to an engine failure which is rather scary when your with all your loved ones!
Definitely won’t be flying #wizzair again after landing in Paris at 1am and 250 people standing around not knowing what’s happening till finally getting a hotel room at 7am and flying back the next day! #mallorca #holiday #memories #family

Sometimes you take a leap of faith, and you find yourself surrounded by the most beautiful souls ✨

What I didn’t expect was how much this journey would give me beyond the travel…

🤍 Community
🤍 Laughter
🤍 Real conversations
🤍 Positive energy
🤍 Support
🤍 Memories I’ll never forget

For so many years, life was about work, responsibilities, putting everyone else first and waiting for “one day”

But I realised one day doesn’t just arrive, sometimes you have to create it. ✨

Now I’m intentionally building a life with more freedom, experiences and moments like these, and it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made.

If you’re a woman who’s ever wondered “is there more to life than the same routine every day?”
I want you to know there is. 🤍

I’m building a travel business that has opened doors I never expected more flexibility, more connection, more purpose and I love helping other women see what’s possible too.

If you’re curious and want to know more, send me INFO 💌
