Four years old feels like yesterday.
When I started dance as a little girl I had no idea how much dance would shape the person I would become. Now it’s hard to find the words to say goodbye.
When God puts you where you belong it becomes homE. @expressionsdance5678 has been so much more than a place to dance. It has been my second home, a place where I’ve celebrated victories, learned from disappointments, laughed until I cried, and created memories that will stay with me forever. Every class, rehearsal, recital, competition, and late night has helped me grow not only as a dancer but as a person.
To my teachers, thank you for believing in me, challenging me, encouraging me, and helping me become the dancer I am today. Thank you for making me feel seen and valued. Your love and support have meant more than you’ll ever know.
To my dance family, thank you for being my biggest supporters, my teammates, and some of my closest friends. We’ve shared so many unforgettable moments together, and I will always cherish every laugh, every hug backstage, every happy tear, and every memory we made.
As I turn the page to a new chapter, I carry everything this studio has given me with gratitude. No matter where life takes me, I will always be proud to call this my homE.

💚Shireen Dookhith has been dancing since she was four years old and started competitive dance at age 10. For the past three years she has been blessed with the opportunity to dance at Expressions! Shireen is an assistant teacher in the recital classes once a week and loves spending the rest of her week taking class with hr friends and teachers. She is a recent graduate of North Lincoln High School and will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall. She plans to major in business administration. Shireen is forever thankful for all Expressions has done for her these past couple years, and will miss her teachers and friends endlessly!

Hii!! My name is shireen and I’m from Denver, NC. I am 100% committed to unc and am so excited to major in business at the Kenan Flagler Business School! I love to dance and hangout with my friends and family. I enjoy taking walks, working out, listening to music, and going shopping!!
