This week wishtrendstory’s choice! Check out @reeneereviews if you want to reduce the breakouts and dark spots🧐 . 🌱 First off- the story behind the brand is inspiring. Did you know the original product was designed to help cancer patients combat skin dryness and other side effects from cancer treatments? They know that safe and healthy ingredients help build up the skins barrier and that there are certain ingredients that must be avoided (dyes, oils, etc that can harm sensitive skin) . 🌱 This Toner contains Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Madecassoside, and Cica to help restore and repair the skins moisture barrier. . 🌱 The packaging is simple but striking. It comes in quite a large sized plastic bottle and the consistency of the product is VERY liquidy. Almost like water. I have found that it does foam up slightly, whether in the bottle or in your hands. I am used to applying toner to my palms and then patting it into my skin but the bubbles were bothering me, so I tried a cotton pad instead. This did reduce the bubbles but I still had some on my face after swiping the pad around. There IS lavender oil in here, which makes up most of the scent of the product. I was a little confused to see it in the list of ingredients just because it can be a triggering ingredient to some. . 🌱 I found this toner to be very light weight but certainly soothing. After a week, many of my problem areas calmed down and redness was reduced. It may help to apply multiple layers of this product for drier skin, but it leaves my skin soft and soothed after one layer right now. . 🌱 Renee Rates It: 4.5/5- I really really like this toner! The only downsides I can find are the addition of lavender oil and the bubbling consistency that leaves my face looking soapy. But- I cant deny that it has helped my problem areas. It definitely makes me interested to try more from this line.
