Kicking off Why Aphi Wednesday this year with REESE!!! 🌅 @reesedibiase

“Hi! I’m a senior at Stanford studying Economics and working toward certificates in both Business Economics and Environmental Economics. On campus, I’ve been involved with Stanford Women in Finance, where I served as Co-Head of Education, and I’m also an interviewer and mentor with the Make a Play Foundation. I spent three years as a coxswain on Stanford Women’s Rowing, which has been such a huge part of my Stanford experience. Outside of school, I’m really interested in finance and have spent my summers working across wealth management, private equity, and most recently investment banking.

I joined Aphi in the spring of my junior year, and I genuinely had no idea how much I was missing until I found these girls. Growing up with brothers, I had always wondered what it would be like to have sisters, but I never really understood how meaningful that kind of relationship could be until Aphi.

What I love most is how quickly they became such an important part of my life. They’re the people I can be completely myself around, who make the random everyday moments fun, and who I know will always show up when it matters. I’ve never been surrounded by so many people who are so beautifully and authentically themselves while caring so deeply about one another.

Sometimes I wish I had joined sooner, but I also think I found Aphi exactly when I needed to. It hasn’t even been a year, and I already can’t imagine my Stanford experience without them. Aphi gave me the sisters I always wished I had, and I’m so grateful I get to call them mine. 🤍”
