I was honored to accept this year’s You Got This Award at the Tristyn Bailey Foundation Gala, recognizing my community engagement work at the State Attorney’s Office and my role in developing and organizing the first Tristyn Bailey Leadership Day.

Last week, the foundation was also given the Community Impact Award from University of North Florida's Taylor Leadership Institute. We were grateful to have huge support from the institute on our first leadership day and look forward to continuing our partnership with them as we expand our teen programming in the future.

This foundation is made up of some really incredible people doing some really incredible work in Tristyn's name, to say I feel privileged to be a part of it is an understatement 🩵

The 3rd Annual Tristyn Bailey Foundation Gala was truly a beautiful evening, Feeding the Good Wolf 🐺🩵in honor and memory of our sweet angel, Tristyn Bailey. @tristynbaileystrong

We’re so incredibly honored and proud to have known Tristyn and to call the Bailey family dear friends. I’ll never forget our cheer drives home when she would slide into the seat and say, “Mrs. Jen I have some “tea” to share”, always smiling, always full of life, and always protective of the ones she loved. Those are the moments stay with me forever and in our hearts forever.

What continues to amaze me is the impact the Bailey Family has made in such a short time though a foundation formed in our precious Tristyn’s memory. Through its four pillars, Tristyn’s light shines on:

Character Development
Victim Advocacy
Self-Defense and Confidence
Education on the Dangers of Social Media

Her legacy is not just remembered, it’s actively changing lives in our community and nationally every.single. day.

Keep feeding the good wolf. Always & forever 🩵 #tristynbaileystrong #feedthegoodwolf

It was a night of kindness, love and feeding the good wolf. The 2nd Annual Gala for the Tristyn Bailey Foundation, we gathered not just to remember, but to continue a movement, one built on love, kindness, and in honor of our angel, Tristyn Bailey.

Where it would be easy to be consumed by heartbreak, the Bailey family has turned their pain into purpose. They have become a source of inspiration for so many, using their unimaginable loss to create a brighter future for our youth. Their commitment to spreading kindness, fostering compassion, and making real change is nothing short of remarkable.

Through the Foundation, they have big plans ahead, fighting for social media safety laws for our youth, self-defense programs, and stronger domestic violence prevention. They’re not just remembering Tristyn, they’re working tirelessly so that no other family endures the same tragedy.

It’s an honor to stand beside them in this mission. To be part of something that is changing lives in Tristyn’s name. And to have known the incredible light that she was, a girl with an infectious spirit, fierce loyalty, and a heart that always stood up for others.

I can still hear her voice, laughing in our carpool drives, telling me, “I have the tea, Mrs. Jen.” Tristyn’s kindness, her fire, her love for her friends, those things and memories will never fade.

We will always be part of the Bailey 7 movement. We will always feed the good wolf. And we will always carry Tristyn’s light forward. @tristynbaileystrong always and forever 🩵🕊️
