If you had to describe PK in one word..what would it be?

Unexpected? Gritty? Creative? Fun?

There isn’t just one word that really sums up Port Kembla. It’s a little bit of everything, shaped by its history, its people, its businesses, its creativity, the land and stunning coastline and all the unexpected things you stumble upon here.

#thisispk #discoverpk

But we want to know how you see PK? Drop your one word in the comments and share the love for this big little town 💛.

As we continue to watch PK grow we acknowledge Dharawal Country, the land on which PK creates and connects.

🐾 What a day at North Gong Dog Day Out! 🐶

We had the best time being part of such a pawsome event, being one of the sponsors for the day and bringing along our stall packed with freebies, prizes and plenty of spins on the wheel!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by, said hello, had a spin and supported us. It was so great seeing the community come together for such an amazing cause. 💙

Puppy Pilates was an absolute hit at #NorthGongDogDay 🐶🧘‍♀️

We hosted this pop up class with local Wollongong studio @refinedpilates , with @coastal.vet.collective on hand to give our four-legged participants a little extra support with their stretches.

Rescue dogs & dingoes took to the mat - thanks to @dingo_den_animal_rescue & @countrycompanionanimalrescue

Participants with paws were treated to treats after, including a doggie gelato by @theflyingdognco & chicken sticks by @anhmdtbyamanda

North Gong Dog Day 2026 🙌🏼🩵

What a day! Thank you to everyone who came down and su-ppawted us in raising awareness about pet adoption to the local Illawarra community!

It was so lovely to have @dingo_den_animal_rescue @countrycompanionanimalrescue & @bffe_rescueillawarra involved with rescue dogs looking for their fur-ever home 🩵

So many fun activities throughout the day ranging from @refinedpilates pup Pilates session, with @coastal.vet.collective support, followed by @coolmumsclubau sensory play experience for kids, Best Dog Trick / Costume competition with SO many incredible entrants, finishing up with a Q&A session with @dingo_den_animal_rescue 🙌🏼🐶

This event wouldn’t be possible without our incredible venue sponsor @northgonghotel - this marks our 9th year! 🎉

Special shout out to @wollongongcity @coastal.vet.collective peto.shellharbour for your su-ppawt on the day🙌🏼🩵
