Haircut on my friend @syd.eg for RAZOR SESSIONS in Louisville! Syd’s hair is so beautiful and an incredible canvas to demonstrate some razor techniques on. We shifted her bangs and face framing, added layers and intentionally created negative space for internal movement and an elongated silhouette. Finishing with hand styling techniques for an organic and loose finish⭐️ Check out Syd’s amazing collage art. She’s so talented and has such a unique vision. Also her mom (shout out heather!) and her have the best taste in vintage clothing, housewares, furniture, jewelry and kinda everything in general @reflectionsvintage ✨ Hair cut with @jataifeather Plier straight razor Styled with @afterworldorganics Coco Argan Oil, @sparrowforeveryone The Hair Cream and @hairstorystudio Undressed. I bring so many products along to my RAZOR SESSIONS to chat about ingredient profiles, the differences between organic, natural and clean haircare, the environmental impacts (always and forever eco friendly please!), and the ethos and approach of each individual brand/maker. It’s fun and a cool way to introduce stylists to hair care that performs great yet doesn’t have the same old negative impacts on us and the earth. I also brought along and shared @gmreverie MILK, @bluandgreenbeauty Solid Oil, @cultandking tonik, @sparrowforeveryone The Magic and a small handful more to pass around the class and share about how I choose to align and partner with brands I believe in. #haircutsrcool #razorcut #shaghaircut #cleanhaircare #hairstory

Curator Spotlight: Reflections Vintage Heather curates vintage the way stylists do—not by decade, but by feel. At Reflections Vintage, texture leads the conversation: soft corduroy, worn leather, rich knits, statement fur, and color-saturated dresses that know how to hold their own. These are pieces meant to be layered, lived in, and styled forward—vintage that feels creative, expressive, and completely at home in a modern closet. Nothing precious. Nothing overthought. Just strong pieces with real presence. Vintage perfection. 🗓️ Feb 12-14 👉 The Jewelry & Vintage Style Show now PART OF @thenashvilleshow 📍401 Wingrove St, Nashville, TN, 37203 📍Expo 1 and 2 🎟️ SHOW HOURS & ADMISSION: (Tickets on Eventbrite are currently discounted for a very limited time!
