39 weeks and the center of my sampler is complete! (39/52 weeks)

Stitching~707 crosses a week has been demanding with all the details, but working with silk and these gorgeous colors is pure joy. I began embroidering the frame from the right side. The flowers are repeating, yet there isn't a single shadow of boredom in it.

I started this piece in honor of @senoritastitches’ September Sampler Soirée. This is the beautiful Albertine Bourgonnie 1907 from @refletsdesoie. Finished @refletsdesoie Emma Susannah Holman this past February and gifted to my son and his girlfriend.
Used 40 count cream/ivory linen. She’s a very big girl….535 by 388!
Used @dmc_embroidery option provided on chart.
These motifs are large and fun to stitch. May actually stitch one for myself!

A little progress on Germaine Blanche by @refletsdesoie - I took a break from the horse (there is a lot of grass left to stitch there) and finished the bird because I needed a small win on this giant beauty. I think Germaine was a horse girl, what do you think?

🌹 Working on this beautiful alphabet sampler “Francine Dechaume 1914” from the booklet Abécédaires Rouges by @refletsdesoie .

Love working with these gorgeous Gloriana silks on a precious piece of XJuDesigns handdyed 40ct linen in “Bunny” (one of my favorites).

I find alphabet samplers so soothing to stitch on. I have so many in my collection that I would love to get to one day. 🥰

I honestly have no idea how this happened, but I’ve already crossed the 75% mark! 🙈 I’m working on such a tiny 56ct fabric that I’m still shocked I even decided to go for it.The entire sampler is nearly 85,000 stitches, and I already have over 66,000 of them done. What on earth tempted me to stitch something this micro? I have no clue! 😅 Will I ever undertake a project like this again? Absolutely! 🧵✨

A sampler hanging on my red sampler wall. I stitched this in 2022. The pattern is from the booklet “Abecedaires Rouges” edition 2017 by @refletsdesoie
I stitched with Aurifil thread (2250) 2 over 2 on 32 count Zweigart Antique White. Actually I do not like stitching with 2 threads, but it looks vibrant.
Love how different it is from Dutch red samplers.
