With a tear in my eye…

It took me a few days to gather my thoughts as the moment still feels surreal to me. I can honestly say that this past Sundays Battleclub 10th Anniversary event will forever be etched in my mind. I don’t know if I was ever nervous for the match itself as I know I had put in the training for close to a year to prepare for this moment. I was very familiar with my opposition that night. All extremely talented, and tough. The thought of another injury never crossed my mind. I knew I had put in the time for this, regrow the callus that our bodies build up over the years.
My biggest fear.. was walking out of that entrance way curtain and that I could have been forgotten about. People get inundated with sooo much stuff these days that it is often much easier to forget. I get it completely. The resounding reaction on Sunday night in Brooklyn made me realize I was back where I’ve always needed to be.

Thank you Battleclub Pro

Thank you Brooklyn, NY

Sincerely Your New BattleClub 5 Points Champion

I’m not gonna lie. Been feeling a little left out lately. Don’t get it twisted. I am incredibly happy and proud of many of those I am seeing moving forward and striving as they get to that next level in their wrestling journey. And while my journey abruptly ended, I could never be bitter about it. Couldn’t be me. I remember having to wrap my whole right leg in a garbage bag and hope I didn’t slip in the shower. As someone who was constantly moving at a 100 miles an hour day in and day out, I now had an astute appreciation for time. I rather enjoyed it. Maybe this was indeed the universes way of saying it was time to slow down. And in that whole time, it really did allow me to do so. I had a chance to travel and reconnect while see many friends along the way. 1 Journey may have come to end, however I am still very excited as to what is next. Thank you to all who have always been so supportive and have had my back. It was always appreciated.
