ā€œ2026ā€ -Jade The year I am supposed to turn 21 and get my first ever degreeā€¦Time flies for sure. Not so long ago I was still in my home country, dreaming about the life that I am currently living (itā€™s clearly not how I imagined it but ayyy). Thereā€™s so many stuffs I havenā€™t done yet like getting my driverā€™s licence or travelling solo. I know there are many things ahead of me but I canā€™t lie, the unknown is extremely scary. I donā€™t know where I am going to be next year, I donā€™t know who I am going to let into my life or who I am going to lose but one thing for sure is : I am growing, evolving and blossoming into adulthood while healing my inner child and getting to know myself more. I am grateful for every single thing that happened to me in 2025 because I learned about this life the HARD way. Iā€™ve been through betrayals, I was wrongfully accused of things I had never done, I was manipulated by people who drained my energy away but I am still standing and challenging myself to become BETTER. I finally accepted my flaws, faced my truth and realised that I am indeed capable of showing affection and love to others besides all the hurt and that being hypersensitive is not a weakness. It is okay. Nobodyā€™s perfect, weā€™re all still figuring things out and it might take a longer time for some of us but weā€™re gonna make it eventually. :) I hope for this year to be different from the others, to be filled with love, joy, beautiful surprises, success and commitment. I pray that the Lord guides you (yes, you, the person reading this if you made it this far cause I know itā€™s a long caption and Iā€™d get lazy too ngl) and me throughout this journey called life and keep us under his divine protection. Amen, happy new year!šŸ’•
