Jacob Tkachuk helped lead a dominant defensive effort by the Regina Rams in Thursday’s 43-17 victory over Alberta, finishing with a team-high 5.5 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup. Tkachuk’s fumble recovery came in the second quarter and set up a nine-play touchdown drive that gave Regina a 24-14 halftime lead. His interception was one of three by the Rams, who forced six turnovers in the win while limiting Alberta to just 59 rushing yards.

🏆 TWO BROTHERS. ONE FATHER. ONE CHAMPIONSHIP AND ONE BIGGER DREAM! 🏈🔥

Imagine winning a football championship alongside your brother, with your own dad as your head coach!

That's something pretty special. ❤️
I had the opportunity to catch up with Matthew and Chase MacAulay following the Regina Thunder's incredible PFC Championship victory over the Saskatoon Hilltops this afternoon!

And here's what makes this story even more meaningful...

Their father, Head Coach Scott MacAulay, gets to experience this journey right alongside his sons.
Think about that for a moment.

The early mornings. The practices. The sacrifices. The tough conversations. The wins, the losses, and everything this family has poured into the game.

Now imagine what it would mean for all three of them to go on and WIN THE CANADIAN BOWL — A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOGETHER! 🏆🇨🇦
That's the kind of memory that stays with a family for generations!

But here's something I want every young athlete watching this interview to think about...

One day, the game ends. But the lessons, the relationships, and the person you become through sport can last a lifetime.

That's what LIFE AFTER SPORT is all about!
It's not just about what you accomplish wearing that jersey.

It's about the man or woman you're becoming while you're wearing it.

It's about your family, your relationships, your character, your purpose, and what you're building for the next chapter of your life.

Because whether you're 18, 22, or playing professionally, there's going to come a day when you take that jersey off for the final time.

WHO WILL YOU BE WHEN THE CHEERING STOPS?

And WHAT WILL YOUR NEXT CHAMPIONSHIP BE?

Congratulations to Matthew, Chase, Coach Scott MacAulay, their mum Suzanne, and the entire Regina Thunder organization!

One championship down. A bigger one still to chase! 🏆💪

LIFE AFTER SPORT — BEGINNING WITH THE END IN MIND.

🎙️ THE EMDEM SHOW | Life After Sport

👇 Athletes, here's my question for you: Are you preparing for your next championship in LIFE as hard as you're preparing for your next championship in SPORT?

The Schmidt Family 🐐

Take a peak at last night’s celebration of Bernie Schmidt and all that he has done for the Regina Rams program.

We are incredibly thankful for Bernie’s years of coaching and dedication to the Rams program. It was so special to have his whole family out to join us for this game.

And of course, who can forget that it was a 1-800-Rams-Win☎️
