This is by far the best party girls in America. I always have a blast around them. I love you Huntie & Reilly❤️.

Hailing from the historically rich city of Charleston, South Carolina, Americana music artist Hunter Park is defining what it means to not only live in the modern south, but to be a trans woman and artist within this landscape. Combining folk-infused vocal melodies and evocative lyrics that capture the unfiltered human experience, She Returns From War is taking her seat in the Americana music world with grace, strength, and passion.

Reilly Downes is a Chicago-based, Texas-raised Americana artist and frontwoman of Reilly Downes & The Acid Cowboys, channeling something closer to if HEART went Americana. Her songwriting explores heartbreak, loss, and queer identity, delivered with grit, intensity, and a slightly unhinged edge.

When we said visibility 👀 we did mean the WHOLE stage. Though they often don’t get the main posts or the fancy call outs- the band makes a band a band! Cheers to all the artists who poured their hearts out on the QR stage. Here’s some- other than smack dab center -stage musicians who certainly captured our FULL attention- 🎸Band leaders tag your peeps! Let’s give them the cred the very obviously earned. @giannipaci @reillydownes @bobbydovemusic @rubydice @jaimewyatt @shereturnsfromwar @julie_effin_nolen

Chicago! Saturday! October 24th!
LAST TOUR SHOW OF 2026!
- Please Buy Tickets 🙏
- Please buy vinyl & shirts on Bandcamp 🙏
- Working on album 5 for next year
- Booking Tours for 2027
- I never realized how rare it is to play in a band with your best friends. We’ve grinded hard all year hitting almost every edge of the country and even Canada 🇨🇦. Played for 10 people & played for 500+. Made no money 😂 and not a single argument. No big blow ups. Just constant re-assurance from folks who see us live, and listen to the records - this is a special group of friends. I can honestly say my best friends, and I can’t believe I’ve gotten to do even what I have with them. I only pray, and work to have many more years with these guys, and more success. I love you guys ♥️

Thank you everyone who came out Saturday to Fitzgerald’s. I loved having the big band out again. I missed high harmonies and how much flute and saxophone by Max Lazarus add to the songs. Thank you to my whole band and @ryanjoanderson for joining us. Very exciting news coming very soon. It’s hard not to share it. “The waiting is the hardest part” as Tom Petty would say <3

Nashville for a week with my friends and my dog ❤️ Betty’s in the band!! I believe this is my fifth time making it down to Americanafest (this is my special interest OK) but it’s the first year I’ve found so much ETC stuff I didn’t even pick up my pass. Still found myself in the same room as Ann Powers for four separate sets so I know I’ve got good taste. Special bonus treat ~ did an extended stay to catch the homies at Honky Tonk Tuesday. Too much fun! Danced and ate grits every single day!! Minimal injuries overall. It’s gonna take a few more days for my fake southern accent to go away. Catch y’all next year ✨

One beautiful thing about @americanafest was finding the Chicago crew in Nashville! Happy to feel at home around @reillydownes @littleswimmin @bgoodsounds @lonesomeandrew and a fun surprise to see @sarahweddlemusic playing with @sabine.annamaryse as well as Andrew! Unsurprisingly, anywhere we Chicago folks were, there was dancing :-)

I can’t believe it’s been a week already; wading through pics and videos so they’ll keep interrupting the grid ❤️🌵🎸🤠💫
