One month of PEOPLE. PLACES. 🎂

Yesterday marked one month since the release of PEOPLE. PLACES. Music for Large Ensemble.

It’s been a very special month — seeing the music reaching new listeners, receiving so many thoughtful reviews, and finally sharing this project with the world after so many years of work.

A big thank you to everyone who has listened, shared, written about it, bought a copy, or simply spent some time with the music. ❤️

If you haven’t listened yet, PEOPLE. PLACES. is available on all major streaming platforms and on Bandcamp. You can also find the physical album, digital downloads and the complete album scores in my e-store.

Links in bio.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Summer has been busy lately - one week of rehearsing and recording some new music by @tobiasmhoffmann for his new album. 🤩

Quite challenging tbh, but a really great experience i don't wanna miss!

Recording days hit different than gigs: no audience, just pure focus on getting the sound right.
Can't wait for you all to hear what we created. 🔥

Six days. Thousands of bars. Hundreds of pages of music. Eighteen musicians in one room.

And now… it’s done. 🎶

The Tobias Hoffmann Jazz Orchestra has just completed the recording sessions for its third album at @audiotopestudios .

✔️3,280 bars of music.
✔️1,466 pages of sheet music.
✔️18 musicians.
✔️6 days of recording.

What an incredible week.🔥

Long days, complex scores, intense concentration, countless takes — but also a lot of laughter, great energy and those moments when everything suddenly comes together.

I’m deeply grateful to every single musician who brought their incredible musicianship, commitment and personality to this recording. You made this music come alive in ways I could have only hoped for.

Now the next chapter begins: editing, mixing, mastering… and eventually, sharing the music with you.

I can’t wait.

One week to go.

A few quiet moments from the place where PEOPLE. PLACES. came together.

Seven days until I can finally share the whole album with you.

These images were captured by Simon Reithofer, who documented the recording session in Graz.
