Lifting weights won't stunt your child's growth. Here's the research 👇

✅ Safe with supervision: the 2014 International Consensus on youth resistance training (Lloyd et al., British Journal of Sports Medicine) says supervised strength training is safe and effective for children and adolescents.

💪 It works: a meta-analysis of resistance training in under-18s found clear strength gains, bigger with longer programmes (Behringer et al., 2010, Pediatrics).

🩹 Fewer injuries: a meta-analysis of exercise-based injury prevention in child and adolescent sport found injury rates about 46% lower (Rössler et al., 2014, Sports Medicine).

🦴 Stronger bones: a meta-analysis found weight-bearing exercise improves bone mineral content and density in children and adolescents (Behringer et al., 2014, Journal of Bone and Mineral Research).

How we do it: technique first, then bands, then light weights. Always supervised. Built to last starts at 10.

AL Hassan spends every day pushing parents and his athletes to take care of their bodies.

So he decided to take his own advice.

As a coach, father, and founder of Relentless, AL Hassan knows that health is about more than training hard and feeling good. It’s about understanding what’s happening inside your body and knowing where you stand.

That’s why he completed his Baseline with Metabolic.

Through blood work, body composition, and a deeper look at his overall health, AL Hassan is taking a proactive approach to his health.

Because feeling healthy and being healthy aren’t always the same thing.

Know your numbers. Understand your body. Take control of your health.

Your Baseline starts here.
