✨Curated by SG Part 2: vintage pieces with history, craftsmanship, and soul

In Part 1, we shared the story behind Curated by SG, a Chicago vintage furniture and decor showroom rooted in pieces that are found, restored, and reimagined.
Now we’re looking closer at the pieces themselves.
From a custom 1970s coffee table sourced in New York to hand-cut interactive artwork by local artist Adam Barrett to chinoiserie-inspired Drexel and Henredon case goods to a rare hand-painted LaBarge mirror dated 1987, every piece in the showroom had a point of view.
This is why working with an interior designer matters.
Design is not just about filling a room. It is about knowing what to look for, where to source it, and how to bring together pieces that tell a story. At Relic Design, we love interiors that feel layered, collected, and personal spaces where old and new work together beautifully.
Resources like Curated by SG allow us to find pieces with craftsmanship, history, and soul, then translate them into homes that feel artful, functional, and completely unique to each client.
Coming next: why vintage is one of the best investments you can make for your home.
