A little moment for Chalets at Blackheath in Vogue Australia. 🤍

From slow mornings and birdsong to bush trails, local wellness and the simple pleasure of doing very little at all, it was lovely to see the Blue Mountains experience captured so beautifully.

When the call went out to get the gang together on a school night at the local cinema to see @spaweekendmovie — robes compulsory, cooking dinner absolutely not — they came. 🍿🥂

I reckon around 40 of us. @mum2.3 casually brought 17 PEOPLE. 😂

Hooting, howling and kicking cinema etiquette to the curb when my face appeared on screen.

Honestly, this is how all premieres should be watched: in a bathrobe, surrounded by your mates, eating popcorn for dinner.

Perfect ladies’ (and lads’) night out.

Wrapping up coverage of our Lanson event this week, and it was all smiles as guests enjoyed a memorable evening in the company of Hervé Dantan, Chef de Cave, together with Lanson’s Emmanuel Gantet and Laurent Valy. 🍾

While every pairing shone, my favourite was one of precision, freshness and elegance:

Serving the Lanson Le Vintage 2005 (final image) held special significance to me as it was the year I was married and honeymooned in Champagne. We stayed at the gorgeous @domainelescrayeres - where I’ll be staying again next week as I begin my June visit to the region.

Champagne has a wonderful way of connecting moments across time. Sharing a wine from 2005 while reflecting on where the Champagne journey began for me made this evening one I’ll remember for a long time. Thank you to Champagne Lanson for entrusting me with this special Sydney Event, to all involved for their support and to my members for travelling from across Australia to share this together.

Some of my favourite moments from our sold out Société de Champagne Sydney event last week for International Women’s Day, celebrating Great Women of Champagne.

Société de Champagne Sydney members joined me at the harbourfront restaurant Sails on Lavender Bay for a six course lunch, paired with champagnes from houses and grower producers influenced and shaped by great women, both past and present, including:

🥂 Billecart-Salmon co-founder Elisabeth Salmon, who we honoured with Elisabeth Salmon Rosé 2012;

🥂 Perrier-Jouët’s Chef de Cave Séverine Frerson, with Perrier-Jouët’s Blanc de Blancs.

I love the Sydney community of champagne enthusiasts we’ve built through Société de Champagne. It’s a joy to see new friendships form at every event, united by a shared passion for champagne.
