the bruise colored sky matches the skin below your eyes, purple like the space between what you said and what you're pretty sure they meant. liquid light reflects off the skin pulled over a cheekbone, red, blue, matching the velocity of how everything familiar last daybreak became new again. bottle this feeling and drink it today, tomorrow, the next - new raw eye contact electrified thumbprint in ribcage. warm up from the inside out while your body watches your lips chap. filamentesque, liquid glowing in the cavern behind your bellybutton. a strip of tungsten dances in the vacuum between two ties.

it's less a feeling than a post-hoc intellectualization, but then again, an electroencephalogram can't tell the difference. something between standing and stumbling and, wait sorry, what was your name again? anyway yeah, the liquid - only ever captured and sealed between transitions, wedged between bodies in the fog. even then, attempts to hold onto that elation are doomed at best, metabolized by bass and teeth and sweaters over hands. good thing you can always step back into it. never really gone, it's pulled taut by desire for existence. held under tension, sprung over the axle, suspended in its own disbelief just for you.

any iteratively improving processes will eventually, given enough time,
find itself crushed up against the unforgiving negative curve of
marginal gains.

we love having a boulder to push.

Our goat @tommysfleece: Detroit born, 23, makes music for the cool kids and the normal kids, casual soundtracks and party anthems. Describing his music as “all positivity, all being a Chad,” he grew up on indie sleaze delirium, punk rock his dad would show him, and the improv genius of jazz. After cutting his teeth in the underground earning a reputation as a tweaked-out synth wizard, he’s finally ready to seize the electroclash crown
