Two cultures, double the celebration ❤️🇻🇳🇯🇲

One of my favourite parts of our wedding was changing into our traditional Vietnamese outfits and going around each table to thank our guests for celebrating with us and sharing a toast together.

A little piece of my heritage, shared with our loved ones, and a moment we’ll always remember.

Our wedding was a celebration of our love, our cultures and the family we’ve built together. ❤️

A family of four, together since 2016, finally married after 10 years and now sharing the bits in between. The beautiful, the chaotic, the funny, the family days, the travels and everything else life throws at us.

How did we go from this to that in just 2 weeks?

Mel complained of pain in his foot when we came home from our honeymoon. That same night, he developed a fever and was in immense pain.

At first, the doctors were concerned it could be a blood clot or even necrotising fasciitis. After a thorough examination and further tests, it was concluded that he has a severe case of cellulitis, with concerns that it could lead to sepsis.

He’s still recovering in hospital, but thankfully the antibiotics are slowly working and we’re seeing some improvement.

From the happiest days of our lives to one of the scariest chapters we’ve faced together. Just feeling incredibly grateful to be holding his hand through it all. 🤍
