Tonight Remi and I decided to go Juju on that Beat for dinner.

For an “appetizer” (for fun) we made Beer Bread with Samuel Adams Octoberfest beer topped with honey butter (3rd slide). It was absolutely outstanding. The Octoberfest beer gave it a nice sweetness to it and it was so crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. It took about 5 minutes of prep and was incredibly easy.

For our dinner we actually went brazy. We made homemade Chili with a homemade Jalapeño Cheddar Cornbread (also topped with honey butter). Oh my goodness. I was shocked at how easy they both were to make. The cornbread was an easy 10/10 and the chili was a smooth 8.4/10. Really easy and fun dinner to make and we’ll have leftovers for awhile. Highly recommend for this fall 🍂

A year from now, this season will feel like a blur. So many decisions and tasks leading up to one great, big, dreamy day. But for now, it’s just Remi & Dru—learning how to be engaged, dreaming about what’s ahead, attending a million of their friends’ weddings and soaking up these quiet moments before everything changes. Can’t wait to celebrate these two next year!

“Look, the winter is past, and the rains are over and gone. The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air.”

We fit this beautiful, smiley engagement session in just as spring snuck away and summer humidity crept in. I loved getting to know Remi and Dru as we documented their engagement. Can’t wait for next year!!! More smiles with these two for me, please!
