The Birthday Post
33 Years Young

This Last Year Was One Where I Experimented The Most, I Learned New Crafts And Sharpened Older Skills I Had Practiced Over The Previous Years. I Lived At Multiple Places, Left Home And Came Back With A Wiser Vision About My Future InSha’allah

It Was The Year In Which I Finally Prioritized My Physical Health And Mental Wellbeing. I Loved Each Moment Of The Process, The Long Walks, The Meals I Cooked For Myself And Friends. I Fasted More Days Than I Can Count.

I Also Released My First Full Body Project “SYN CITY - بلاد السين" Which Is The Fruit Of A Collaboration With My Brother @ratch0pper . I Took The Decision To Release It Exclusively On BLOC C PLATFORM. A Decision The Shifted My Perspective On The Music Industry As A Whole.

I Wanna Thank Allah For The Blessings Of Good Time, Health And The Right People That Crossed My Path On This Journey That Is My Humble Life. And To Y’all, I Promise That I’ll Share With You What I’ve Been Working On For The Last 6 Years.

Happy Birthday To Me و الله يديمها نعمة.

@SceneNoise #NewNoise: This week on Shuffle, SceneNoise’s bi-weekly roundup of standout new releases from across the region, we’re serving up a packed selection of fresh tracks, featuring regional icons like Haifa Wehbe, Saint Levant, Lella Fadda, and TUL8TE.

Starting things off, Lebanese pop icon Haifa Wehbe and Palestinian artist Saint Levant steal the spotlight with their wedding-themed music video for ‘BAHIBEK’, injecting the playlist with catchy, romantic energy. Also on the pop front, Egyptian artist TUL8TE makes his COLORS debut with ‘Garee2a Awy’, a flirtatious track that leans further into his modernized take on 90s and 2000s Arabic pop.

Meanwhile, some artists are testing new ground. Palestinian singer-songwriter Noel Kharman links up with Ramallah-based producer Al Nather on ‘Sakakeen’, swapping her usual classical-inspired sound for trip-hop sonics. Egyptian artist Lella Fadda does the reverse, pivoting away from left-field rap and alternative into flamenco-infused pop.

Egyptian rapper Ziad Zaza had an especially busy couple of weeks. He teams up with Amjad Jomaa for the first time on ‘YALLY BEATOUNA’, marking his first foray into electro-dabke, before joining veteran composer Hany Shenouda and rising singer Tina for a fresh interpretation of Shenouda’s classic ‘Bahlam Maak’.

Rounding out the selection are NOURINE’s ‘LAHZA’, Tommyy’s ‘Law Tseeb Haseeb’, Randa Shoukry’s ‘Leh lesa bafakar fek?’, REMZI’s ‘Nestaaref’, HUSAYN’s ‘Asfa’, and Vest, Qabnas, Hila, and Milo’s ‘Shobra Benha Blues’.
