For as long as I can remember, I’ve sat in my mom’s bathroom getting my hair curled, styled, braided, and everything in between. 🤍

Even after losing it all, I still find myself sitting in her bathroom getting my hairpiece styled. 🥹

This is my favorite hairpiece that was custom made for me by Complete Image! @complete_image_ @renae_miller_

And if you’re styling your own hairpiece: just be sure not to use your curling iron on too high of a setting and always use a heat protectant spray. Other than that, it’s pretty much just like curling the hair that was attached to your head! 💕

Wig wash day 🫧🤍

A little behind-the-scenes of how I wash and care for my human hair wig! This hairpiece is from @complete_image_ , and @renae_miller_ has been helping me with my hairpiece journey.

Complete Image recommends washing alternative hair every 6–8 wears and avoiding coloring or chemically altering human hair systems to help with longevity.

My wash-day routine:
🫧 Gently detangle before washing
🫧 Shampoo in one direction—never rub back and forth
🫧 Condition mid-lengths to ends, avoiding the base
🫧 Rinse thoroughly with cool water
🫧 Gently pat dry with a towel
🫧 Let it air dry
🫧 Finish styling with medium-low heat (350° or lower)

Save this for your next wash day! 🤍

Not all hairpieces are created equal!

I’ve worn both stock and custom medical-grade hairpieces, and the difference is something you truly have to experience.

A custom piece is made for you! Your head size, your hairline, your density, your color, and all the little details that make it look and feel like your own hair. Instead of trying to make a stock piece work, your piece is designed to fit you perfectly.

Working with @complete_image_ and @renae_miller_ has shown me how much of a difference that personalized process makes. If you’re investing in a hairpiece, I’d always recommend investing in one you absolutely love rather than settling for several that never quite feel right!

It’s an investment, but for me, the confidence and comfort have been worth it. 🤍

A custom hairpiece is an investment, but after wearing one, I truly understand why people say it’s worth it! 🤍

If you wear your hair every day, having one piece you absolutely love can make such a difference in your confidence and your daily routine. This piece is so comfortable to wear on my bald head and looks so real!

If you’ve been on the fence about investing in a custom hairpiece, I hope this encourages you to at least look into it. Thank you @complete_image_ and @renae_miller_ for creating something that I love! 💕

Got the best birthday gift possible today! 🤍

My custom medical-grade hair piece from @complete_image_ is finally here, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been working with @renae_miller_ over the past four months to create the perfect fit, and seeing it come to life has been such a special experience!

The cap is incredibly comfortable for total hair loss, breathable, and fits like a glove! The hair is so soft, beautifully colored, and looks amazingly natural. I am able to get a glimpse of myself before having alopecia!

Finding Renae and Complete Image has been such a blessing, and I’m so grateful for the care, talent, and heart that went into creating this beautiful piece. 🤍
