The hits just keep on coming! Wesley & The Boys - Euro Tour Tape 26’ - LIVE! First single out today and tape pre orders are open on the Swimming Faith site. 250 made but 200 are getting shipped to Europe, so you USA heads better get yer copy now. Limited supply to 50. Full album releases Friday September 18th. TOUGH MUSIC FOR FEELING TOUGH. Nashville, TN’s own @wesleyandtheboys return with their EURO TOUR TAPE ’26: an example and a warning of what delicacies and delights to expect at their revered live shows as they tear through these 12 songs with blinding ferocity and simmering boogie. No-frills, no bullshit, and certainly no-fucks-given rock n’ roll about life on the street, jobs, fighting, and a whole lot of shit-talking. See them rip through Europe this October 8th to the 31st thanks to @wildwaxshows . Album Cover by: @swimmingfaith Band Photo by: @renata.grains Tour Poster by: @attackingthebeat

Last night, we had the pleasure of sending off one of our favorite athletes, @_theylovemeka (Jameka). This isn’t goodbye. It’s see you next time. When Jameka first came to Rivalry, we knew her time with us was going to be temporary. What we didn’t expect was just how much she would become a part of our community in that time. Her sense of humor. Her energy. Her willingness to work hard. She always brought something special with her to the gym. One of my favorite jokes we used to run together was when I’d introduce new members to everyone at the gym. I’d introduce my wife @prettyhandydoc and say, “This is my wife.” She’d wave, they’d wave back, and then I’d point to Jameka and say, “And this is my other wife, Jameka.” Without missing a beat, Jameka would smile and say, “Heeeyyy.” The looks we would get were absolutely priceless. I’ll always remember how good of a sport she was and how easily she could play along with whatever ridiculousness we came up with. That’s what makes a community special. Sometimes people come into your lives for a season, but they leave an impact that lasts much longer. Jameka, we’re going to miss having you here. Thank you for all the laughs, the hard work, and the memories. This isn’t goodbye. It’s see you next time.

Last night, we hosted the opening reception for our spring community show, “In Plain Sight”. I knew this show was going to be special. The majority of our artists were first time contributors and I had never met many of them before last night. And you know what that means? It means our arts community is growing and Jacksonians are being exposed to art that moves and challenges us. I think the best part of last night was watching connections happen. Artists meeting other artists, asking about process and technique and exchanging phone numbers and taking photos together- the stuff I dreamed about when the gallery was only an idea. Art is a powerful vehicle for community and I get to watch it happen in real time. To every artist who has work hanging in the gallery- thank you. Truly. It’s a vulnerable thing to create art that’s deeply personal and then release that art. It becomes what the observer needs it to be and that’s a gift. To every neighbor who showed up to witness the work- thank you, really. Art holds so much of our collective story and has the power to bind us and break us in all the best ways. Thank you for bearing witness. Art really, really is for everyone.
