Chefs @sebastianlorenzi and @romeo_morel brought the Italian summer to @tebo.hk for one night, with Ah Hei greeting guests, helping with service and doing what he does every day at South Lane, where he’s been working for over a year. His mum shared with us that since he started working, he comes home every night with more to share. With a routine, a place to be and something to look forward to, she says she worries a little less about him now. Thank you to everyone who joined us for dinner, and to the team at @tebo.hk and @aquahongkong for bringing the evening together. r é n In The Kitchen Charity Night, co-hosted with @afoodieworld at @themirahotel — where a stellar line-up of chefs are lending their craft to something bigger than a menu. We sat down with four of them — @mitsurukonishi from @plaisancehk , @_gainy from @solrestaurant.hk , @loic_portalier from @louise.hkg and @chefalexiswatrin from @themirahotel, to hear about their dishes, their journeys, and why they chose to cook for r é n. All proceeds form the evening goes directly to @rencommunityfoundation — creating work opportunities for Hong Kong’s disadvantaged youth in exclusive kitchens and beyond. See you there. Wednesday, 2nd September. Link in bio to RSVP. 📷 @happy2shoot

Since its founding in 2023, r é n’s mission has always been about growth, both as individuals and as a community. Over the past three years, our beneficiaries have matured into their new roles and our community and outreach have expanded across various industries and sectors. This growth has propelled r é n from a modest social enterprise to also a separate, fully registered charity. Today, we are delighted to announce the establishment of our fully registered charity arm with the help of Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer: @rencommunityfoundation! The foundation will continue r é n’s commitment to helping Hong Kong’s disadvantaged youths secure meaningful employment, achieved through our growing network of partners and collaborators and supported by donations and funds for our Youth Employment Scholarship (YES) Programme. Whether through our social enterprise or registered charity, our mission remains steadfast. We are truly grateful for the ongoing support from donors and patrons like yourself, which makes our work possible.
