Dinner. A dinner we had only dreamt of came to life as the sun set. It was the part of the night we wished could have lasted until the sun came up. So much love filled every moment, every conversation, you could feel it. @abbjdesign brought the entire vision to life with the stunning flowers and gorgeous tablescape, somehow making it even more beautiful than we had imagined. @levibirks carried the evening with so much warmth and humor, keeping us laughing until it was time to dance. (His favorite dish was the fish.) Quinn ended his speech with words I’ll never forget and can’t wait to relive. Before long, we shared our first dance while @kevinogarrett sang and @hansorrellstyler played the violin like an angel. Having so many of the people we love not only there to celebrate with us, but woven into the day itself, made every moment feel that much more special. Looking around those tables, it was hard not to just cry and feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Apéritif Hour. Two hours that felt like five minutes that no one wanted to end. Overflowing with Aperol Spritzes, Negronis, delicious food, and joyous music getting the party started. We decided to make our entrance during apéritif hour because we didn’t want to miss a minute of it. As the band played Can’t Hurry Love, they welcomed us through the gardens where everyone was waiting, and it couldn’t have been a more fun way to kick off the evening. It was the perfect in between—our ceremony behind us, dinner still to come, and a little pocket of time where we could wander through the gardens, hug the people we love, and simply enjoy being together. Then, with a drink in hand, we followed the music through the gardens as everyone made their way to dinner. It’s difficult to find the words that encapsulates the experience and feelings felt at this wedding. Friends and family gathered from all over in Aix-en-Provence, France to celebrate the Delbridge family story. All documented on @kodak film / #35mm #120film #leica #mamiya7 Photo: @tomirwin.co Venue: @chateaudesannes Planner: @nona.events Dress: @steven_khalil Suit: @pjohnsonweddings Florist: @abbjdesign Make up Hair: @josephine_briere Rings: @monikaruggerino Band: @rendezvousroamingband Developed & Scanned: @ghisafilmlab A angle from the couples perspective that I find so beautiful. Every detail of this ceremony was lovely. Moments when an unexpected guest (a bee) flew into the bride veil. A moment that will never be forgotten. Being followed by your entourage through the French gardens to your party , smiles all around! When a plan comes together, these colors!! Off to reception I mean , simply iconic Who’s ready for dinner? Who said you already need a wedding cake, how about a pavlova?
