✨ PRINCEMAN ARC REVIEW ✨

Just curious! What makes a book’s spice level 5/5 for you? 🥵🔥🌶️

📝 Phoebe has always loved the game of soccer. When she finally gets called up for the US Women's National Team, it's a dream come true...or the fact that she gets to play with her long term idol & crush Grace Henderson! Grace doesn't know how to deal with Phoebe because she's everything opposite of Grace: loud, talkative and playful. But one kiss changes everything, and it's something neither one of them can ignore.

What I 🤍:
⚽️ Sports Romance
🤫 Secret Relationship
💕 Opposites Attract
🤝 Teammates & Lovers
🎉 New Orleans Scene
🍴 Foodie References

These characters were EVERYTHING in this book. I fell in love with both of them, and I loved how Grace & Phoebe communicated with one another. Their relationship felt so realistic, especially if you are "sort of" seeing someone you work with. HOLY SMOKES! THE LOCKER ROOM SCENE. 🚿 That may have been one of the spiciest scenes I've ever read, and their attraction to one another can be felt off the page. 🥵

Prince's Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Passion: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Read if ➡️: You loved Kulti, but make it a spicy, sapphic version!
Read 📅: Soccer Season
CW ⚠️: Jerky Boss, Coming Out, Self-Diagnosis

I really loved this book, and it makes me want to travel to New Orleans for the food scene! My mouth was watering a few times for the beignets! One part of this book that felt off for me was the pacing of their relationship. I felt like the climax of the story hit a bit earlier than I anticipated, but it's still one I'd highly recommend to others. Additionally, there's a part at the end where a mental diagnosis is made. Without giving it away, I wish that had been fleshed out more throughout the story, rather than at the end. Last, I also want to note that this book highlights the part about athletes being able to come out on their own terms.

🙏 Thank you so much to Meryl Wilsner, St Martin's Press and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

🌟 #cleatcute comes out September 19th! 🌟

Happy Friday Book Lovers! 📖

I was nominated by @novelsandbrew to create an awesome snowflake made of books! This was such a fun one to make because there are SO many options of how you can make it! 🤩 If you search snowflake stack or snowflake book stack, there are dozens of different snowflakes to make. ❄️

Tagging a few who would like to create! As always, if you’re not tagged, feel free to make one yourself! ☃️

Picturing the “calmness” of Christmas break & cozying up after tomorrow’s work day. 🤩 [But in reality, the holidays are always chaos]! 🎄

Jumping on the #dearreader train & trying it out for my friend @maes.library who tagged me! 🫶🏻

𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡?
By a long shot yes. It was 45. I’m currently at 124. 😜
•
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 2023 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡?
I’m more of a underpromise and overdeliver type. I’m worried of not hitting the goal if I go waaay to high, but I’m thinking I could jump to 75. 🤞🏻
•
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙞𝙣 2023?
The Twisted series by Ana Huang & the Ravenhood series by Kate Stewart. 📚
•
2023 𝙛𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨?
- ravenhood series
- twisted series
- the true love experiment
- firefly lane
- lessons in chemistry
- the priory of the orange tree

𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙?
Ugh. I’m not a person who rereads even the best of books. I wonder what I could be reading instead. 🫥 Also my memory is terrible, so I always log the books in a journal (digital & hard copy) along with writing down the ending. ✍🏻
•
𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧’𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣?
Obviously hit my reading goal, but continue to love / embrace my own personal hobbies & be happy for who I am. Comparing oneself to others, especially on here, can be tricky. Balance and enjoyment are key!🫶🏻
•
I love connecting with all of you & I’m excited for what next year brings!! 🎉🎊
