When I first heard Dan Martell talk about his wife, Renee, two things stood out to me.

First, the responsibility he takes for the man he’s becoming.

He doesn’t give his wife the job of fixing him, healing him, or making him a better person.

He takes ownership of that himself.

And second, the incredible respect and admiration he has for her.

You can HEAR it in the way he talks about her.

And I think these two things are so important in creating an extraordinary marriage.

Imagine being married to someone who is committed to becoming the best version of themselves AND who genuinely admires and appreciates the person you are.

Now imagine BOTH people showing up that way.

Taking responsibility for their own growth.

Cheering each other on.

Choosing to see and celebrate the wonderful things about their spouse.

That’s the kind of marriage worth working for.

I’ve been to every gathering this group of women has hosted, and I STILL get nervous walking into the room.

These are some of the most successful women in my industry. Women I look up to SO much. And every time, there’s a little voice in my head wondering if I really belong at the table.

But that feeling is exactly why I keep showing up.

Being surrounded by people who are doing things I aspire to do, who think abundantly, have generous hearts, and genuinely want to see each other win has been the most incredible form of personal development in my life.

I’ve invested a LOT of time, money, and energy into growing my business. And nothing has given me a greater ROI than intentionally building relationships with people like this.

Not just financially. I’m talking about happiness, gratitude, inspiration, love, and quality of life.

If I could give one piece of advice to any entrepreneur, it would be this:

FIND YOUR PEOPLE.

Seek them out. Get in the room. Pour into them. Celebrate their wins. And especially, find people who make you think bigger without ever making you feel smaller.

This is EXACTLY why I’m so passionate about creating rooms like this for other entrepreneurs. Because I know firsthand how much the right people can change your life.

When you cross $10m in annual rev, having people on your team who are smarter than you is standard.

The hard part is outside of work 🙃

When you try to make friends or connect with people, you almost always end up on a pedestal, someone wants something from you, or you feel you need to mute your ambition just to fit in.

I created this invite-only room so that women running $10m-100m+/year companies have somewhere to be peers, instead of the most advanced person in the room.

Friendships, instead of just contacts 🫶

I’ve run 4 of these this year, most recently bringing together 15 women CEOs who do $10m+ per year and generate over 3 billion monthly views from content collectively 🔥

Running these has taught me a LOT about what to actually look for when you’re curating your circle.

If you want to find genuine peers who elevate you, it really comes down to these qualities 🪄

✔️ They want to grow their companies at a similar pace to each other. This is more important than revenue level, team size, and personality.

✔️ No one has an ego. They don’t think their way is always the right way or that they know everything. They’re constantly willing to be proven wrong or be a beginner again.

✔️ They generously give first. They’re not afraid to give away all of their “secrets”. (this is only possible in a space where everyone trusts each other)

✔️ Their energy is reciprocal. When you’re talking to them, you know they’re listening and are fully present.

✔️ They lead in a way that people can’t help but want to follow. They take initiative in any situation where they see a leader missing/needed.

✔️ They’re emotionally intelligent and considerate + aware of social dynamics.

You know that moment when you’re in a room full of women you admire, and a quiet voice says, “They’re going to figure out you don’t belong here”?

I felt it this weekend. And here’s what got me: so did everyone else.

The woman who’s amazing at content felt like a fraud at hiring. The one with the big team felt lost at sales. Every single one of us was great at something and secretly scared about something else.

At dinner one night, one of the women and I kept coming back to the same three words: hard is holy.

Not hustle. Not pushing through until you burn out. Just this: when it feels hard, it doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re being faithful to the thing you were made to build.

And with everything so automated and polished right now, what we all wanted was the opposite. Real talk. Real hugs. Women saying, “I don’t have this figured out either.”

So if you’re in a hard season and wondering if you’re cut out for this, I see you. You’re not behind. You’re becoming.

I freaking DID IT!! 🥹👇

I speak live on a Masterclass every single week. So why was I sitting alone in a Chicago hotel room feeling like I was about to throw up? 😅

For some reason, presenting in a room on my own has always been my big scary thing. Behind a screen? Totally fine. Standing in front of a room full of women I’ve looked up to for YEARS? Major imposter syndrome. I honestly thought I was about to make myself look like a total dummy.

But this past weekend I faced it, and I’m not gonna lie, it smashed some pretty deeply rooted limiting beliefs. I’m feeling so proud and so freaking excited for what’s next.

To all the incredible women in that room, thank you for holding space for me. You have no idea what a gift this was. Love you all!! 💛

Gratitude • Excitement • Imposter Syndrome • Anxiety (You know, just the usual cocktail of pre-Mastermind emotions.)

The room was to be filled with 8-figure female entrepreneurs and while I truly adore being around such brilliance, there’s also a current of fear coursing through my veins.

Fear of Enoughness.

I hope I’m smart enough, share enough, give enough.
I hope I am enough.

It’s weird to admit it, especially because I’m saying it out loud, to you, here on social media.

But it’s true.

For most my life, I walked into rooms and didn’t belong.

I won’t get into the complexities of my childhood, but just trust I was basically a wrench in an art class. I felt useless.

Since then, I’ve done a lot of work to rewire my systems of belief and actually become a woman who no longer asks if I belong in the room, but if the room belongs to me.

From the moment I walked in and thanked our hosts (Natasha Willis and Stacy Tuschl), I decided the room belonged to me, and I to it.

And because of that decision, I made myself open to learning. Here’s a few of my favorite lessons:
* Repetition builds your reputation, so keep going. For two years she revised her approach with few results, until one day it took off like wildfire.
* Don’t remake the ad, remake the hook. One ad made $3M, and it ran for two years. When the ad slowed down, she simply remade a new 5-second hook.
* Reply to your comments on ads, they matter. Your replies overcome objections at scale, and drive further engagement.
* Don’t delete your cringe videos, they’re proof. They show your progress and iterations.
* Learn what works for others, then make it your own. No singular business is the same, so take the idea, then rework it so it oozes you.

I’m sharing these lessons with you because I deeply believe they apply to us both.

And I want you to ask not whether you belong in a room, but if the room belongs to you.

I came into this weekend excited and, honestly, a little intimidated. I’m leaving feeling more grounded, inspired, and a whole lot braver. 🤍

Every woman brought such unique knowledge, experience, and skills, and shared them so freely. The conversations lit a fire under me, but the friendships are what I’m most excited to keep building.
