You dream up these things and hope it all makes sense. It truly is like having another room in your head. This show has been a beautiful challenge. A strong concept that centers around escapism when in a trauma filled situation and honoring the child in us. We built wonderland out of found items, and then allowed them to level up through this heart wrenching story. I have never had the opportunity to work with this many amazing women on a show. Director, assistant director, choreographer, music director, set design, lighting design, prop design, costume design, wig design… ALL WOMEN!!! We know and appreciate how many people lifted us up to give us this opportunity. It’s rare. And it was beautiful. This does not come without amazing men supporting us at the theatre and in our every day lives. Booked and blessed doesn’t cover it. This cast is AMAZING. They deserve a sold out house. I’m so proud of them. And I hope you will choose to spend your dollars at ALICE BY HEART this month! #seeyouintheround #womenintheatre #alicebyheart #duncansheik #anotherroominyourhead

Closing night for this beautiful and sold out show at @wvcarts
I am so proud of this cast, this crew, this team, and this theatre!
6 months ago we were afraid that we would be shut down forever, now hitting multiple sold out shows, and only going to get better and doing more!

I want to thank everyone who let me work with this production, the staff and producers at West Valley Arts, the amazing director @dadpackedlunch our choreographer @benjorockandroel and the amazing assistant director @brightonsloanphotography and assistant choreographer @emilythehenwood

And I want to thank the producers for this adorable and sweet gift of the copy of Jekyll and Hyde!

I cannot wait and hope to continue working with this amazing company for many shows to come! Including light designing next years spooky show “Wait until dark”

If you missed out on this amazing show, I feel sorry for you, but take it as a sign not to miss the next seasons.
