We LOVE seeing your Goldie bag living the good life🤎 Beach days, picnics on the water, sidelines, movie nights, road trips, farmers market runs and all the everyday adventures in between.

The Everyday Picnic Bag was made to be used, loved and taken along for the ride—and seeing where you take yours might just be our favorite part.

Keep tagging us @thegoldiedays_ so we can follow along (and live vicariously through your days).

I miss these days of family gatherings to pick olives so much. The occupation has destroyed all of this.💔

To help my family in Gaza, the link is pinned on my page.👆

All the cool kids are doing it...

@stevieyaaaay’s series “If Nature didn’t exist, we wouldn’t be as cool” 💚🌿 Swipe for the not so cool side of nature.

Important reminder: NOT ALL GROUPS ARE AFFECTED EQUALLY BY ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES. Environmental Racism Is Real. When it comes to exposure to poor air quality, pollution and water contamination, BIPOC are disproportionately impacted. Protecting the environment goes far beyond saving the turtles and a beautiful IG aesthetic. Make sure you’re including the welfare of BIPOC in your advocacy.

Asking myself how can I do better, how can I show up in real and impactful ways? Not just right now, but all of the time. I want to do meaningful work here on LBWL, but I’m also aware that having conversations and goals to change things that don’t personally impact me is a privilege. I have a lot to learn, and I’ll continue to learn as I go. I understand now that switching to a reusable bag is not the solution. I want LBWL to be a space that helps create true and lasting change not just for the planet, but the people who inhabit it.

With the overwhelming amount of information circulating out there right now it can be difficult to even know where to begin or what to do about it.

I encourage you to challenge your perspective. Acknowledge your privileges. Keep learning about environmental events and issues. Diversify your feed. Follow these BIPOC accounts and educators: @intersectionalenvironmentalist @theslowfactory @diandramarizet @thatcurlytop @greengirlleah @ajabarber @ayanaeliza @zerowastehabesha @lilnativeboy @wildginaa @afrominimalist ...just to name a few.

What a beautiful home we all share 🌎 Today I’m reminded that this planet is what unites us and the gifts of Mother Earth are abundant. There’s so much beauty in every grain of sand, every blade of grass, every drop of water. We’re all interconnected. Put your feet in the dirt 👣 can you feel it!?! We are not separate from Mother Earth, she’s inside each and every one of us. It's her ecosystem that sustains our existence. She is our home, and she’s the only one we've got. This Earth Day I want to look toward the future, move forward, onward and upward! How do we shift our role here? How do we keep our home clean so that she can function and thrive? How do YOU see the future?

Hey Gang!
I started a low waste lifestyle mag. You should totally read it!
It’s called (Yoo-Lah) @eulamag. The namesake of my grandma, EULA is a wink to her era of lighter living and more resourcefulness with a modern approach. Don’t worry, It’s not all eucalyptus, straight lines and neutral pallets!
My vibe is warm and cozy, messy dressy. I’m a sucker for nostalgia and never too cool to claim I workout to show tunes. And that’s just the vibe I hope to translate into EULA- lighthearted, inviting, and touched with a bit of whimsy.
SO WHAT IS IT?
It’s an approachable guide to living lighter in all the best aspects of life: food, fashion, travel and interiors with low waste undertones. Pair all of that with a lineup of natural wines pioneering the sustainable sipping scene and you have yourself an entertaining and educational platform that inspires a bit of mindfulness without giving up the joys of life.
No one is perfect and in an ideal world we’d all be zero waste. But every little bit helps, so EULA will be the jam to encourage you to do what ya can where you can, while introducing you to some rad sustainable brands, spaces and faces along the way!

Wow, I’ve never written so much on Instagram in my life. I realize my mom and sisters may be the only ones that get this far:) One other thing. The website you are about to view (hopefully) was designed by the talented @reneemudd, and I love it!
