It was an honour to attend the 35th Anniversary celebration of the @facetheworldfdn , founded by the remarkable Jacqui Cohen.

For more than three decades, the Foundation has brought together community leaders, philanthropists, and partners to raise funds and awareness for organizations making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, particularly here in Vancouver. It was inspiring to see so many people united around the shared goal of giving back and strengthening our communities.

Congratulations as well to Jacqui’s daughter @kasondraherrendorfcohen on her leadership role with the Foundation’s Board of Directors, helping to carry forward a legacy of philanthropy and community impact.

@bc_indigenous_housing is grateful for the invitation and for the continued partnership and generosity of the Cohen family. As previously announced, we are proud to be working alongside the Cohen family and @bosaproperties on the redevelopment of the former @armyandnavyca site in Vancouver, an exciting project that will contribute to the future of our city while creating meaningful opportunities and community benefits.

A special thank you to Pam Baker @himikalas of the @squamishnation for the beautiful dress, CEO, @brenda.knights wore to the event. The number of compliments it received throughout the evening was a testament to your talent and eye for design Pam!

Thank you to everyone who continues to invest their time, resources, and passion into building stronger communities. Together, we can create lasting impact.

My only @dc_snowboarding board. I’ve watched the Mtn Lab vids so many times and it was a sick concept. It’s a shame it’s no longer around. It was such a dreamy house and represented just how much fun snowboarding is.

It showed what you can do with a creative mind to build unique features especially from the missile to riding through the house itself. Pretty epic stuff!

Thank you @kblock43 for the inspo & memories that carry on 20 yrs later. ❤️

I love how the base is so bright and colourful. It’s unlike any other board and when you see it, you’re transported straight back to the opening of the videos. It’s so cool! 😎

In the last pic I’m having a wine with it as I flew to Sydney > Brisbane for the day to get it from a friend who had it uber delivered to her place. That’s collecting in Australia for ya. ✈️ Thanks @ajgallimore 👌

Board: DC MILF (DC first year board I think)
Vid Inspo: DC Mtn Lab & DC Mtn Lab 1.5

I’m so grateful for our time spent at the DC MTN LAB. What an amazing time in snowboarding. Although it was almost 20 years ago the friendships have lasted to this day and the memories feel like yesterday. Thank you @kblock43 for creating such a special place. We miss you every day. Thank you @pierrewikberg for sending over this bonus section edit.
