Congratulations to Leiza Stanley and Revive Wellness on 10 wonderful years! ✨

It was such a pleasure to spend time today with these passionate, caring providers. I’ve known Leiza for over 15 years, and I feel truly honored to be part of this field and connected to a community of people who are so kind, compassionate, and committed to their work.

It’s a rare gift to find a group where you can genuinely be yourself. I’m grateful for the Renfrew reunion and for reconnecting with colleagues I hadn’t seen in a long time—and, of course, for the pumpkin donut!🎃👻

My heart is full. So much gratitude. 🩷 @revivewellnesstherapy #Grateful #MentalHealth #EatingDisorders

So grateful for our incredible Platinum and Gold Sponsors who make the work of IAEDP Philadelphia possible. 💙

At IAEDP Philadelphia, our mission is to promote awareness and education around eating disorders — supporting professionals, strengthening our community, and ultimately improving access to quality care. Because of your generosity, we’re able to host meaningful educational events, provide networking opportunities for clinicians, and continue raising awareness about eating disorder prevention and treatment in our region.

Your investment isn’t just financial — it’s a commitment to education, advocacy, and the individuals and families impacted by eating disorders.

Thank you for standing with us and helping us grow this important work year after year.

October is LGBTQIA+ History Month: a time to honor the stories, resilience, advocacy, and contributions of LGBTQIA+ communities, while also recognizing the work still needed to ensure everyone has access to affirming support and care. 💚

For people navigating eating disorders and mental health challenges, identity matters. LGBTQIA+ individuals can face unique stressors and barriers to care, making spaces where people feel seen, understood, affirmed, and supported especially important.

This month, we’re grateful to highlight several organizations in the eating disorder community offering support specifically for LGBTQIA+ individuals:

✨ National Alliance for Eating Disorders — LGBTQ+ Pro-Recovery Support Group
✨ ANAD — LGBTQIA+ Support Group
✨ The Emily Program — LGBTQ+ Pro-Recovery Support Group
✨ The Renfrew Center — SAGE (Sexuality and Gender Equality) Support Group

At Rock Recovery, we believe everyone deserves a place where they can show up fully as themselves and receive compassionate, inclusive support on their path toward healing. Help us celebrate LGBTQIA+ History Month by continuing to build communities where everyone has a seat at the table. 🌈

Honored to be part of the 36th Annual Renfrew Center Foundation Virtual Conference for Professionals, starting November 6th!

I’ll be presenting Overfunctioning and Control: Understanding Disordered Eating in High Responsibility Caregivers and Leaders—diving into the hidden link between high-responsibility roles and disordered eating, and what clinicians need to know to recognize and address it in caregivers and leaders.

This year’s conference brings together clinicians, researchers, and advocates for powerful conversations around mental health and eating disorders. With up to 49.5 CE credits, dynamic keynotes and workshops covering a variety of topics —there’s something for everyone.

It’s time for another Referral Partner Spotlight! 💜 This month, we’re excited to highlight @renfrewcenter, a longtime leader in eating disorder treatment and a valued part of the recovery community.

With locations across the country, including nearby programs in Bethesda and Towson, Maryland, The Renfrew Center provides specialized care for individuals navigating anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and co-occurring conditions.

One thing we especially love about their approach? Their belief that recovery is about so much more than treatment. It’s about helping people reconnect with relationships, pursue school and careers, experience meaningful moments, and build a life beyond their eating disorder. 🌱

We’re grateful to The Renfrew Center for the important work they do and for being part of Rock Recovery’s referral community. Swipe through to get to know their team and what makes their approach to recovery special!
