Epic 4-day journey up Emmons Glacier to 12,100 ft on Mt. Rainier with Isaac and Kevin 🏔️

We weren’t able to summit due to mountain conditions - the pathways to the top from this side of the mountain were too risky to climb across, as major cracks had formed in the ice, blocking off a safe route. A bit of a bummer to make it that far and not quite accomplish the mission. Tons of learnings from this experience though that I’d never trade back. Just another reason for us to return to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and take on this challenge once again.

Thanks to @internationalmountainguides for an unforgettable experience!

❤️‍🔥 Life is a Ceremony 🪶✨

Still overflowing with love and gratitude after a beautiful Havdalah ceremony and pot luck meal at the N.E.S.T. in Woodstock, NY with the Village Shtiebl community.

What we are building is so real, so needed, so important and offers so much healing to the Jewish community and beyond.

Bridging the sacred to the mundane is the alchemy of the Havdalah ceremony as we say one last goodbye to Shabbat, our day of rest, and hello to the dynamic flow of a new week.

May we all remember to find the sacred in the mundane, but more importantly, may we all remember that it exists for us.... Even in the most mundane of moments.

Special thanks to Stefanie Frank for opening up her beautiful home. Hopefully this was the first event of many to come. 💞🪶✨

What would your life be like without the pressure to do things you don’t actually want to do?

Not many people in their lifetime will get the privilege to even ask themselves this question.

Most will think it’s impractical and impossible and won’t even ponder it, scrolling past this post.

Only few will understand that it’s actually the most nourishing way to live your life. To live a life connected to your desire often means a more regulated life. And regulation leads to brilliance, flow, and responsiveness.

Sometimes it’s not even that we don’t want to do the thing we think we have to do but the pressure that we feel when doing it to get it done makes the task way less enjoyable.

A lot of this stems from our cultural conditioning that rewards us doing hard work for pleasing the systems and people outside of us. This strips away our natural autonomous desire that is actually 100% safe and easeful to live from.

And it’s even possible to live from in your life right now. Even if you don’t want many of your current actions to change. It’s more about the permission to know you have the freedom to do what you want.

If you’re wanting more permission to do what you want in the world and engage with people in the way you want to DM me or check out the link in my bio ♥️

The unknown can be an overwhelming black hole of possibility.

We never know what is going to happen, and in the unknown that we’re collectively coming up against, as we see a lot of the systems and structures failing us more clearly than we have seen before, many of us are experiencing a lot of fear.

And most people haven’t been taught how to let fear move through their body to possibly then take deliberate action.

To survive the unknown (which has in reality always been the ocean we’re swimming in):
-Feel the fear. Just feel it. It’s safe to feel.
-Love those around you as much as you can and find better ways to
-Ask for support. Let the community that exists in this world support you as we move through this together.
-Let yourself receive what you do know. (Like that the earth is underneath your feet)
-Collaborate. Create. Cooperate.

I thought I could be prepared for my mom dying. ( my mom and 5 other loved ones unexpectedly )

I do believe some of the internal work that I did to allow feeling to move through my body possibly helped.

And, nothing in those 8 years of her being sick could’ve actually prepare me. For the gut wrenching pain and logistics that had never been considered. Or the self & community resourcing I would experience. The beauty and depth of knowing God that I now have. The reverence for life.

We are seeing the beginning stages of some things in this world crumble and die. Some ways of being. Some structures and systems. And there are so many theories. So much chatter around what to do. So much conspiracizing.

Collectively, stuff is happening. And we have no clue what’s on the other side for us.

Please take care of yourself and those you love, and not just because what is happening and could happen is scary, but because the unknown in itself can be disregulating. AND it can allow more presence and reverence if we allow it.

And if you want support with caring for your fear or loving yourself and those around you more fully to be able to collaborate and create together..

Evan and I will be leading a course to create a new culture together. Link in bio!

🪅 Feliz Año Nuevo! 🪅

📅 What a way to wrap up 2025 and kick off the new year then on my island home away from home, Ometepe, Nicaragua!

🏥 The past year, and really the last few, have been about prioritizing getting out of medical debt & getting my life back to a place of normalcy. And while it’s been fulfilling, I’ve had to put a bunch asides & leave a lot of fun times on the table.

🕺 Every year my biggest sense of accomplishment always tends to draw back ln my accolades & this year I wanted to prioritize experiences as my point of pride.

📸 Here’s a snapshot of some of my favorite moments over the past week:

🧘🏻‍♂️Cacao Ceremonies & my first acro yoga with @thecacaofairy

🪁 Kite Surfing with @ometepekitecenter

🐎 Horseback Riding on the La playa Santa Cruz

🏋🏼‍♀️ Teaching a HIIT class abroad at @elpitalparadise set to the smooth groove playlists of @aweinspiringashley a.k.a. @iamsnacks

🌋 Dinner in the Sky for NYE at @totoco_ometepe

🔥 Afters fun at @raindance.ometepe

🛶 Kayaking at @playa_mangos

🏃 It’s a good way to close out 2025 sprinting to the finish line & rolling into 2026 with a running start!

🥂 Here’s to another strong year ahead!

Salmón Song 2022 🌊
@hanawayys filmed this in 2015 with the siblings in Alaska and finally got around to editing it once @rep_clarence released this song he made circa this time period too. Our sister @eveeeeyyy dances in it and going through the footage reminded me (Hanna) of how fun it was to direct (esp siblings) and how much I miss cinematography, though I’ve been dreaming about it (in my sleep).
.
I (Isaac) had so much fun with the siblings being creative and goofy and weird in a beautiful place and then trusting and supporting my creative journey in making the song and collaborating in this way.
.
Hope you enjoy this silly/serious video of salmon spawning.. with headphones if you want the tickles. Vimeo Link to full video in our bio trees (reposted for the whole enchilada)
