There are some people who don’t simply document a city.
They activate it.

I encountered @bigrubeharley before I ever knew his name. I didn’t know I was being photographed — I was just living my life, and Rube saw something worth capturing. That was his gift: seeing people fully, with dignity, humor, style, and truth.

As I came to know him, I saw how effortlessly he moved between worlds — street culture and high culture, creatives and millionaires — treating everyone with the same grace. His authenticity couldn’t be taught.

Rube photographed our wedding during a time when I wasn’t at my strongest. I wasn’t trying to be seen. And yet he saw me anyway. Those images are some of the kindest, most human photographs I have of myself.

Rube gave everything to this city — its people, its stories, its soul. Now he’s facing serious health challenges, and our city has the chance to give something back.

There’s a GoFundMe linked in the comments and in our bio. If his work, generosity, or vision ever touched you, please consider contributing.

This is what community looks like.
Rube gave us the ride of a lifetime.
Now it’s our turn to hold him. 🤍

What a night at the Library! ✨ The 2025 Wonders Beyond Words Gala honored the extraordinary A. Morris Williams, Jr. and brought together leaders, supporters, and creatives for a celebration of community, education, and access. From powerful performances by @balletx and @micdupphilly to heartfelt moments and inspiring tributes, @freelibraryfdn reminded us why it’s one of Philadelphia’s most beloved institutions. 📚💫

C&A was proud to help bring this inspiring evening to life—celebrating the power of stories, connection, and impact across our city. #CashmanEvents #CashmanPR

We love when tenants appreciate the building’s character, like this image shared with us of a spot in our historic staircase.

Appreciation works both ways, and we’ve partnered with numerous tenants for projects in Billy Penn Studios, like @replicacreative for our directional signage (as shown).

If you ever notice a detail you admire throughout our 180,000 sq ft, don’t be shy! We love this building, and we're all ears for what you enjoy too!

For this tenant, it's dramatic shadows on brick that's over 100 years old. Nice pic(k)!
