⚔️ TABLE FOR TWO: F VS V — ROUND 6 The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth 📅 2024 | 👥 2 | ⏱️ 30 min | 🧠 2.07 / 5 | 🎂 10+ 💡 Antoine Bauza, Bruno Cathala | 🎨 Vincent Dutrait | 🏢 Repos Production Round 6 brings out one of our absolute favourite duelling games, where multiple paths to victory keep you on the edge of your seat! Taking control of Mordor, Frederick set out on a relentless Nazgûl hunt for Frodo and Sam, while Valerie built a steady, conservative strategy across the realm. 💬 TABLE TALK — The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth Valerie: Watching Frederick rush down the Ring track was intense, but I stayed focused on securing the grey cards to keep my options wide open. That patience paid off completely in Chapter 3 when his momentum stalled, giving me the opening I needed to expand my presence. Spreading out and placing a marker in every single region of Middle-earth for the victory felt incredible. Tying the overall score 3–3 makes the second half of this challenge insanely exciting! Frederick: I went all-in as Mordor, gambling on an early Ringwraith victory to catch Sam and Frodo before Valerie could assemble her forces! Chapters 1 and 2 looked so promising, but getting caught without enough grey cards in Chapter 3 completely locked up my engine. Valerie capitalised on my overconfidence flawlessly and locked down the entire map. It stings to lose the lead, but making her a big plate of spaghetti is a penalty I am more than happy to cook up! 🏆 ROUND 6 RESULT: Valerie takes the win! 📊 OVERALL SCORE F VS V: 3 - 3 🍝 PARTNER PENALTY: Frederick cooks a delicious homemade batch of spaghetti for Valerie 🍷 Swipe to the final slide to take a look at a close-up detail of our next game. Can you guess which title we are playing in Round 7? Have you played The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth yet, and are you joining #TeamFrederick or #TeamValerie this season? Let us know in the comments! — #BoardGamesOfInstagram #TableForTwo #DuelForMiddleEarth

131 Spiele.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗟, 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 ✅ We didn’t rush this morning. After two busy days we really needed that. First up was a chat with Ben from @luckyduckgames. 📍Hall 6, Booth 6-B401 Then we went over to Mazaza to talk with Matt about @kavango.game and their new standalone game Scavangers. 📍Hall 6, Booth 6-F101. We also ended up at @drandagames , chatting with William. Their demo games are there, so you can still play things like Crispy Critters. Some of the games they wanted to sell didn’t make it to the fair unfortunately, but there’s a QR code at the booth where you can order them with free shipping. 📍 Hall 3, Booth 3-H400 It’s always nice to meet the people who actually make the games you play at home. Later we also caught up with @hobbyworldint, @kidstablebg, @allplayhq and @ice_makes andy many more. Lots of talking again, and suddenly the day was gone. We were invited to an event tonight hosted by @all.about.games.international, but we had to cancel. Ricardo wasn’t feeling well, and we’d really like to make it to the last day tomorrow, so we chose to rest. Sorry we couldn’t be there! One more day and SPIEL 2026 is already over. That went way too fast 🥲 Bis morgen! 💛 #spiel26 #spielessen #boardgamesgeek #boardgamereview #boardgameconvention
