@RepVinceFong won't meet with his constituents in the valley, maybe he'll take Sandra Van Scotter up on a debate.

Do you think he'll answer the challenge?

This week we announced a new VA facility is coming to Bakersfield, California in December. Our Veterans deserve the best care and that’s what they’ll get with this new, modernized VA outpatient clinic.

Can’t get over what a gift it was to lobby in DC with the most incredible women that fight to protect what is true and right in this country and care SO deeply for this nation 🇺🇸.

I am beyond blessed to fight with you. @concernedwomen ❤️

For over thirty years, the existing Bakersfield VA Clinic has served thousands of veterans across our region, but that facility is aging, patient demand has only grown, and it doesn’t have the space or resources needed to meet our veterans’ needs.

That’s why I was honored to welcome VA Secretary Doug Collins to Bakersfield today to announce the new, modernized Bakersfield VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. This space will better meet patient demand and expand access to essential services, including primary care, mental health, dental, rehabilitation, and other specialty services.

This is an important investment in the health and well-being of our Central Valley veterans, and I want to thank Secretary Collins, the administration, and @repvincefong for their continued partnership in making this project a reality. I look forward to seeing our Valley veterans benefit from this new facility soon!

Treason.

Where are

Congress?

Nebraska, President Donald J. Trump decided that Los Angeles and San Diego are "a small price to pay" for... cheaper gas?

He invites our enemies to attack these US cities. "A small price to pay..."

This is unsustainable.
This is unconscionable.
This is treason.

Thank you, Congressman Vince Fong, for your leadership and for joining Kern County business leaders around our table.

It was an honor to host a conversation about how technology and AI should be handled at the federal level, and why the Central Valley belongs at the forefront.

"Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we learn, work and grow, and the Central Valley is uniquely positioned to be at the forefront of this innovation." — Congressman Vince Fong

Kern County is leading the way on AI, and we're proud to help shape the national conversation.

Yesterday, organizations across different sectors, elected officials, and media partners came together at Clinica Sierra Vista for the Binational Health Kern County Press Conference.

At the heart of Binational Health is a shared mission: connecting Latino and immigrant families throughout Kern County with healthcare, trusted health information, and resources that support healthier communities.

We were honored to welcome Consul Rebeca Ron Noriega of the @consulmexfresno, along with our Binational Health partners and local, state, and federal officials, to highlight the importance of collaboration in making care and resources more accessible to the communities we serve.

The work continues Saturday, October 17, at the Binational Health Kern County Community Health Fair, where families can connect with free health screenings, resources, services, and community organizations.

I was honored to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Friant-Kern Canal Phase I Pump Station Replacement Project today. This canal is one of the most important waterways in our region, supporting over 1 million acres of farmland, more than 30 irrigation districts, and thousands of family farms across the state.

I’m proud to have secured $200 million in federal funding for these much-needed improvements and look forward to seeing this investment strengthen water delivery for years to come.

Thank you to the Friant Water Authority, Bureau of Reclamation, and our federal, state, and local partners for making this project possible. I look forward to continuing our partnership to ensure the Central Valley has the water resources needed to support our farms, families, and communities.

🚨 Every single Democrat in Congress voted for a $4.5 trillion TAX HIKE on American workers, families, seniors, and small businesses.

The contrast could not be more clear right now in our country.

One party is working overtime to bleed working Americans dry to fund a radical, dangerous, and destructive Communist agenda. The other is cutting your taxes, securing our border, and putting Americans FIRST.
