FOR SALE 🚨 (Sold 🥲)

Regrettably, I am parting with this exquisite timepiece to fund my project cars.

This Big Crown version from May 1967 was acquired in October 2020 from a specialized vintage Seiko dealer. The search for the perfect 62mas led us to import this particular piece from Japan. Initially non-functional, the watch was expertly restored to running condition. Notably, the case remains in exceptional, unpolished condition, displaying sharp edges and visible CNC machine grooves—rare for its age. The non-functional state suggests it has been kept away for a significant period, minimizing wear and contributing to its remarkable preservation.

In October 2020, the movement underwent thorough repair, cleaning, oiling, and servicing using NOS Seiko parts. The original rotor, though having some oxidation, was retained to preserve the watch's authenticity. Remarkably, it maintained an impressive +2 seconds on the Timegrapher.

Aside from the crystal and strap, all components are original, including the intact lume—a rarity for watches of this age. Please note that the lume on the bezel has naturally fallen out, a common occurrence that I chose not to refill, preserving the watch's originality and unique story.

These photos showcase close-up shots under harsh lighting to reveal any imperfections. For a more accurate representation, please refer to my other pictures on this page. Despite being nearly 57 years old, the watch is in excellent condition, with expected scratches, marks, and aging evident.

An Omega with a cult following, the 36.5mm Dynamic III is a great alternative to the Rolex 14270, of course at a lower price point. The Dynamic III was reportedly inspired by the ‘dirty dozen’ watches of the 1940’s this lineage is clear when looking at features such as the jumbo screw down crown. This is available for sale on @rerunwatches but I’d rather keep and wear it for a bit 😂
