Super proud of how far I have come 🙌🏿 still not at my desired size yet but way better than where I started from 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 2023 we move 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾.

If there is anything I have learnt on this journey is consistency 🙌🏿🙌🏿 going to the gym , actually eating and counting calories. Thanks to my dietician @reset_yg and personal trainer @vaneuza_r for holding me and encouraging me throughout this journey.

I know first hand that weight-loss is not just a physical struggle but also a mental one. You fight battles in your head that only people who have been through it would truly understand.
It is very easy for people to tell you to work out and lose weight. They don’t understand that it’s beyond getting up and going to the gym when mentally you are not even ready. Let’s not talk about the hormones that make you just want to sit down and wallow in self pity and slowly slip into depression.

So please if you are trying to lose weight and you feel you can’t do it alone , get help . There is no shame in getting help. There are days and weeks I slip up and mess up my diet and routine but when you have help and support , they always help you get back on track and remind you how far you have come.

Took me a lot of courage to share this here but it’s 2023 in a bit 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 we move 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼. Happy new year in advance .
