What a day, San Antonio! 💜

Our Aspire Fertility San Antonio team had the honor of walking alongside so many incredible families, advocates, and supporters at this year’s Walk of Hope. Every step was for the 1 in 6 people affected by infertility, and for everyone in our community still waiting, hoping, and fighting for their family. Thank you to everyone who walked, cheered, and shared their stories with us. You are why we do what we do ✨

Last week I had the pleasure of attending RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association’s Hope Rising Reception in Houston, alongside my Houston fertility mental health colleagues. The reception supported RESOLVE’s mission to expand access to infertility support, information, and resources.

What a joy it was to meet Dr. Alice Domar, a pioneer in mind body medicine and infertility research, and author of Conquering Infertility and several other books.

I’m so grateful to be part of this community and to work alongside such wonderful colleagues!

Every time I say your name out loud - I smile with a tug at my heart. I am blessed to have her as my angel. Honoring her, talking about her, is the least I can do.
This candle is hers and everyone in my community who has suffered infant and pregnancy loss.🤍

October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day and I wrote this meditation about my experience with pregnancy loss. As I was going through infertility, I thought about this pregnancy often. I was only 18 and it lasted 16 weeks.

Tonight we light candles in a Wave of Light to remember the ones who left us too soon.

If you’ve experienced the exquisite pain that is a chemical pregnancy after an IVF transfer — this one is for you.

I hope you know you’re not alone.
I hope you let yourself grieve.
I hope you know it’s not your fault — and I hope you tell yourself that however many times you need to.

There's so much I can't say this year for obvious reasons if you know me, but I really wanted to share this video about glitter & grief as it's a beautiful way to think about loss

Especially if you feel like you're drowning after baby and pregnancy loss

Just know that it's ok if you keep finding the glitter ✨️🌟💗

That baby was and still is part of you

You don't need to fix it or make the pain go away

There's nothing wrong with you

And no matter what happened
The loss WASN'T your fault
You are NOT to blame
Ever

I know it's hard not to think that

Remember, you don't need to carry this grief and hurt alone
