Same thing applies to yourself but are you ready for that conversation? 😬

Of course there are those who won’t show up even if you are consistent, but if you don’t show up, you don’t give the people and things that will a chance to. Because they will if you do. Commit to showing up again AND AGAIN.

This week’s schedule!

What would it look like to have a wholistic practice of music? The west tends to focus on separation, individualism, specialization. Why are the visual and physical deemphasized in jazz education (let alone the spiritual)? Why are they relegated to the title of parlor tricks and a bonus as showmanship? Perhaps we wouldn’t so often get stuck “in a rut” if we weren’t hyper focused on only the sound, the speed, the virtuosity. In fact, if we were more concerned with our whole body, would we have less injury? Less tendinitis and carpel tunnel? What if we treated ourselves as an ecosystem instead of an object to be mined? Things to consider 🤔

Come through and tell a friend if they want to learn how to jam!
